In two minds about this....works with Smartthings
Using this with a Samsung Smartthings hub. You can use the default siren device handler but it is better if you use the custom one which you can find by searching the web for "[RELEASE] GoControl Siren / Linear Siren / Vision Siren" (different names but essentially all the same internals). This allows you to get both siren and strobe by default.Pluses:+ Works with Smartthings+ It is louder and smaller than another z-wave siren I tried+ The strobe are a proper three LED lightsNegatives:- There is a bit of a delay to active the siren. It is like a few seconds. During testing it gave me a few scares that it wasn't working at all.- Some bits of the custom device handler didn't work for meOverall, I'm keeping this on my system but it could have been better.
