Paint is faint and barely shows up
The paint does not work well at all. It barely shows up. If I put a lot of paint on the brush, then there are bits of paper. We love the the paint book itself, just use different paint. The pages are fun and easy for my toddlers to paint. Perforated pages with lots of different dinosaurs.

Great for a new painter
These are great for that toddler who is just starting off painting. It is less messy than normal paints and is super easy to use. I got these for stocking stuffers for my 3 and 4 year old. They love them!

Great for PreK Kids
My son loves using this and because it's basically a paint by number pad, he's also practicing his number recognition. The paints on each page are so nice, it means you don't have to leave an entire paint set out to get sloshed and ruined. The individual pages tear out and the paint tears off the page as well. The colors aren't as strong as the picture, because they're watercolors not acrylic. There is built in storage for the paint brush, which is fantastic.

So convenient. Just add water
This is so convenient. It comes with everything you need including a paintbrush. You just have to add all of water. It's a cool throwback from my childhood. I remember doing these as a kid.The pages are nice and thick, but you should definitely pull them out before beginning to paint or they will dampen the pages underneath. The paintbrush is too small, so I replaced it with a thicker one.In my opinion, the paint could've been a little darker, but it is a watercolor set, which is meant to have a lighter paint effect.

Fun for younger ages
AluAbi Paint with Water books are available in two different designs: traffic (vehicles) and animal world (extinct creatures). At just around 8.5x11” and less than a half inch thick, this is a portable activity for your child. I say “child’, not children, because this set only comes with one paint brush (which is handily stored inside the book in a cutout above the paints and pictures). If you want more than one child to join in (which is possible given that this set has 20 different designed pages), you’ll need to supply your own paintbrushes. This can be good for traveling - all you need to supply is a small dish of water. This book seems to be aimed at a younger crowd than other watercolor paint books I’ve seen. The dinosaur images are fairly large and don’t have much detail. There are also small numbers on each feature which corresponds to one of the 7 paint colors. Your child can ignore and do their own design though. The dinosaurs are pretty true to the general shape of what we believe the creatures looked like but of course are cartoonish. There are also out of proportion flowers, trees, clouds, (and sometimes music notes??) which is why I feel that this is for a younger age. There isn’t a lot of educational materials in this book - just the picture and the genus name of the dinosaur (e.g. Stegosaurus, Diplodocus). You don’t get any other information about the dinosaur, but that’s ok. I would rather just a name than facts that are wrong or written poorly.I like that each page has two perforations: one to separate the page from the book and another to remove the ink wells off the top after your child is done with their artwork. The paper is sufficiently thick for watercoloring. The ink will be much more muted than shown on the cover or in the online listing, just know that so your child isn’t disappointed.Overall, this is a good book at a good value. My son gets one page for a reward when he behaves all day. It takes him about 10 minutes to color each page and he really enjoys it. This is an ok value and could make a good gift for young dino lovers.

Cute dinosaur book but hard to get colors out
This is a cute dinosaur books with perforated pages which is nice that you can easily share. I also like that it has many different types of dinosaurs. My 3 year old was coloring and he found it hard to get the colors out of the little blocks. Even when I tried to help him it’s not easy and the colors are extremely faint. I wish the colors were easier to extract and that they were more vibrant.

Unusable Paint
Pros:-20 different transportation images (submarine, ambulance, motorcycle, hot air balloon etc)-card stock material-includes a paintbrush-7 paint colorsCons:-paintbrush bristles are too thin-paint cubes do not contain enough paint-paint is so faint and there isn't enough to pain a page-the paper begins to shed after 3 strokes of paint-expensive for 20 pagesKiddo stopped painting with the included paintbrush and paint after a few minutes because the brush was so thin and there was more plain water going across the picture than actual paint. The colors are very faint, making the paint useless. We had to supplement with gel crayons and our own water color set. A definite pass, even if the paint was supposed to work because it's also too expensive. Dollar Tree sells full workbooks with paint dots already on the picture, just need to run plain water across the picture. Really disappointed at the quality because we were excited about the convenient concept.

Fun paint by numbers for kids
A lovely paint book with 20 paint by number images. There's 7 colours of paint per page which makes painting less messy. My Daughter is nearly 2 and although she didn't stick to the numbers, she has fun with this. The paper is really thick and good quality so paint doesn't go through to the next page. You can easily tear the pages off too. I'd definitely buy more if they go on offer.
