2 Pack - DIRECTV RC66RX IR/RF Remote Control

These Universal DirecTV remotes are much better than the new smaller Genie remotes DirecTV is shipping with their Genie 2 boxes.I've been a DirecTV customer for more than 20yrs now and DirecTV always would ship me Universal remotes when I upgraded my DVR. Well with the Genie 2 I was sent their slimmed down remotes that aren't Universal. Yes they're more compact but the main problem that bugged me the most was their inability to turn off the TV independently from the DVR. I would have to turn off the satellite box manually let's say if I wanted to switch over and use Google Chrome. It was so annoying.I'm so glad I found these official DirecTV Universal remotes and that they work perfectly with the Genie 2 DVR! I bought the two pack for a great price. These remotes are hefty and well made. They don't feel cheap at all like the Genie remotes which I went through 4!The programing was a breeze. Right out of the packaging they worked with the receiver. No programming needed. I just needed to program the TV. When you're programming the TV just set the slider on the top of the remote to "TV", then follow the steps in the instructions that come included with the remote. Select your TV brand on screen and the tv codes will be displayed. Try each code until you find one that allows you to control the TV volume and you're done! Enjoy your new remote!

Both Remotes arrived as scheduled and each was individually wrapped with Batteries.Product appears to be exact OEM and fully functions as such. Great value (x2) as opposed to Directv price for just one.

Classic DirecTV Remote. Have used them for 25-years. I had one that was intermittent in operation. Looked for a replacement and found this "2-fer" for about the same price as a single one, so jumped at it. Tested them out and the first one worked great, the second one showed that it was transmitting but it did nothing with the receiver. Amazon stood behind their sale and authorized a split payment refund for the defective unit. Very happy with the working unit and with Amazon taking care of their customer base!

This is my all time favorite remote for DTV. I can’t live without the Last 4 option on DTV. Open the new remote it worked out of the box. Just needed to add the program to my TV. 1-2-3 I’m up and running again. Great price, great remote.

Needed to replace older remotes that had broken buttons from years of use. Ordered these & they were indeed the exact model I needed. I like that you get two remotes for the price. No issues on set up or connecting. Comes with instructions and batteries. Going to order a few more for additional rooms that are in need of replacement.

I only needed one but I now have a spare. The one I am presently using works perfectly. Coded in all devices and I couldn't be more pleased. I would recommend this seller to all buyers. P.S. batteries included as well.

Does almost everything the remote it replaced, only much better. Very easy to program. How long it lasts will be the real determining factor. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that on the guide I can't advance by a day at a time. If there is a way please let me know.
