Great little adapter. No long or bulky wires. I just used the USB wires that I had with this adapter. Great idea!

These don’t work. Firewire and USB are two different protocols that are not interchangeable. These adapters do absolutely nothing.

Not even one star. I was forced to choose one star by Amazon. I can't believe that after all of this time Amazon's quality control department hasn't red-flagged this item. USB and Firewire are two completely different signals. Just look at all of the other comments that said "Don't buy this"

this product came in a oversized manila envelope without any protection from damage and when i went o try it it's does even register on my mac nor does even come up in target mode on my mac as well. and my PC says it's corrupt or damaged. I'll most likely look elsewhere for another one. and it's should be offered with the 2 units instead of one in case one does not work.otherwise not happy.
