The new Attack Eagle Decoy with Distress & Predator calls is a cost-effective state of the art bird deterrent system. The built in sound system is light activated and battery operated. The sound system runs on a 5000 mAh 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery(battery not included), which is recharged daily by the built in solar panel. The Attack Eagle utilizes bird scaring features & sounds that effects starlings, pigeons, gulls and other pest birds - even small mammals. Unlike the typical stationary ubiquitous 'closed wing' owl decoy, a nocturnal predator that subsists primarily on rodents and snakes the moving Attack Eagle bird deterrent represents a real life-like threat to pest birds. The Attack Eagle's threatening wing spread stance immediately provokes fear to flocking pest birds. Pest birds are keenly aware of raptor profiles. The Attack Eagle's attention to detail - size, shape, color patterns / markings and more importantly, the powerful beak and claws will quickly alert pest birds to avoid the area. The Attack Eagle with is the ideal pest bird deterrent for almost any bird control situation(not recommended for nesting birds) - agriculture, small gardens, tailing ponds, cell towers and easily adaptable to any structure or architectural detail. Sturdy, price is right
Although not as large as I would like, it looks close enough to real from a distance that I think it will keep pests away. Seems to be working so far. Wish is had a better way to attach it to a stand--I have bungie cords holding it in place. Price was right!

Great base for Fawkes the Phoenix
I had seen on Pinterest where someone had made a phoenix using this decoy for a base. I bought one for that purpose and it worked beautifully.

Not a deterrent for birds
I placed the decoy on my deck to keep birds from flying in and using the bathroom but it did no good. My porch still has bird poo on it this morning. I would not buy again.

Does not scare birds away.
It did not keep the birds away, they still continue to poop on our cars every day.
