Worth the money!
Nice quality desk chair that provides great back support, especially for the lower back. This chair is definitely ergonomic because both the seat and the back are curved to match the natural curving of the spine. I bought this desk chair to replace a 4 year old Ikea desk chair that had barely any back support, and I can definitely tell the difference. I would definitely recommend this chair to people who sit at their desk for over 3 hours a day and need the back support. Great for gaming and for college. The arm rests are made of medium-hard plastic and can be pushed up to allow for more arm movement, such as playing instruments like another comment mentioned.Assembly was a piece of cake because the parts are packaged together and lettered in order of use in the directions. The directions are detailed enough for handy people to follow, but might be difficult for someone with no experience. I am very handy and was able to assemble the desk chair by myself in about 15-20 minutes. It's just a desk chair, so it is not insanely complicated. I have posted pictures of the directions so you can see what it is like.

Great Chair and Great customer service
Great Chair and Great customer service. The chair is in a class of its own when it comes to individualism. I look forward to sitting in it with its rocking ability, its tilt lock, the arms that can raise up and allow for it to completely roll under my desk. The chair is just perfect in so many ways that its definitely a keeper. Like I said, the customer service is more then helpful and will make sure you are a happy customer no matter what! Thais chair is in a category all in its own! I Love it and so do all the people I let sit in it because it looks really cool and comfy to with that extra lower lumbar region support. I say you have to buy it, try it and you will know exactly what I am talking about. The assembly was easy enough for me to do alone. I recommend keeping the box in good shape after taking the chair out, it serves as a good temporary work bench. I love my chair!

Solid, comfortable chair at a good price, but arms don't work very well.
I've listed all the positives in the headline, so I'll just explain the one negative. In order to make the swing-up arms work, the designers made them splay out. This makes the chair nearly useless for working with your hands -- e.g, using a keyboard. You arms are so far apart that neither of them can touch the keyboard unless you crank them inward, off the arm rests. The problem with this is that the arm rests are sculpted to make them comfortable when your arms are aligned with them. If you try to use it with your arms canted inward so you can work at a computer, you are going crosswise to the contouring and the arms are quite uncomfortable.I am keeping the chair because I need the swing-up arm feature so I can also use the chair for playing guitar and piano while recording at my computer. With the arms up, it works just fine. Eventually I'll get something to use as padding to fill in the contours on the arms and make them more comfortable..

So far so great, but here is a consideration:
My back pain went away within two days of switching my broken-down old chair out for this one. I spent days surfing products and reviews on Amazon before making this purchase - this chair had everything I need and is very comfortable (to the person who said the seat was too firm, I find it to be a godsend, honestly, as my last chair had a cheap foam seat and had flattened down to the base). The lumbar support is lovely, though if you are a heavier person I question whether it may stretch out for you eventually as the lumbar support is based on fabric tension only. The fabric seems pretty indestructible though, and for those under 200 pounds, you probably have little to worry about. It's a great chair, especially for the price.Assembling it (specifically, getting the arms situated onto the back of the chair and screwing them in) was a little unwieldy by myself but took under an hour. Everything is well-organized in the package and the instructions were clear enough. My only complaint, and maybe it's because I was slouching before, is that I can't figure out if there is a way to slightly adjust the overall angle of this chair a slight bit without releasing the rocking pedal, as I feel a little bit like I'm being pushed forward. The only thing I could completely live without are the shiny "chrome" panels on the sides and base - would have preferred all black and maybe that was an option but I missed it. Totally happy with the comfort and quality though, and hoping it will last me through the next few years of being deskbound. I've read in a few other reviews that the customer service is amazing. Gratefully, haven't had a need, but that's a good thing to know when buying self-assembled furniture online.
