2 Packs 3.6Ah Ni-Mh 18 Volt DC9096 DC9098 DC9099 Replacement Battery

My Dewalt batteries stopped holding a charge. One wouldn't charge at all, the other only lasted 10 minutes after a 2 hour charge. I shopped for replacements at my local store and there was no way I could afford DeWalts. Found these and have been using them regulary since they arrived. They are slightly larger than the originals, but not enough to make a difference. They hold the charge well and give me full power. I have had no problems at all.

Battery pack arrived with a partial charge, full charge in less than 20 minutes. Had no problem attaching pack to drill and removing from drill, fits well and seemed to power the drill as well as the original pack. Had no problem inserting pack into charger or removing from charger, fit well there too. They just arrived today so I can't speak for how long they will last, hopefully I'll get at least a year, they come with a one year warranty. Certainly the price is right: two packs for about half the price of one new, Dewalt branded one. Hard to beat!

These were ok for the price but they lost life pretty quickly and I ended up getting some lithium ion replacements that have done better

A couple of years ago I replaced my 18v DeWalt drill/driver with a new 20 V drill, driver, charger, two batteries and a case for less than what it would have cost to replace the two original 18v batteries. There was nothing wrong with the 18v drill and it worked very well. I just couldn’t see paying all that money for older technology. After purchasing a vacation home that needs repairs and updating, I found it necessary to put together a second set of tools rather than haul tools to and from the site every trip. That’s when I decided to look into replacement batteries for the 18v.I found these on Amazon and decided to purchase them. You couldn’t beat the price. They were delivered promptly and fiit the drill and the charger perfectly. Fully charged both batteries in a few hours. I didn’t stand there and watch them charge so I’m not sure how long each took. They work like a charm and solved my tool transport problem. I would highly recommend these batteries if you need to replace your original DeWalt batteries.

I was skeptical about buying these replacements, but so far they are working great. I don't use them a lot, but when I do need my drill for something, the battery is still holding its charge months after I last charged it. That's a good sign. And the charge seems to last as long as the originals while I'm doing a project. To buy new batteries from Dewalt I'd pay more than I did for my drill and saw set new! This helps keep old used batteries and tools out of the landfill. Thank you.

Previous reviews seems promising thats why I bought it. I didn't want to spend $100 on brand version. Let me start by saying these are suppose to replace 2 old Dewalt NiCad battery. Seems that this is NiMh and extended power. It fell flat and they were god aweful when I used them for a sawzall to trim trees. It didnt last as long as the Dewalt NiCad and the output or power was very weak. It struggled severely cutting branches. Furthermore these batteries are a pain to remove off of the sawzall. I would not recommend these, and I am hesitant to use them on my circular saws. These batteries are probably only good for light duties like flashlight, drilling small holes or screws but definitely not for cutting but remember these batteries are hard to remove once they are attached to your power tools.

Had these for about 18 months. I use them intermittently, home repair stuff. Two things to say: First, they will now drive less than a dozen self tapping screws before dying. And second, they were always a pain to get on and off the drill. something did not fit right, to the point that on one of the batteries, I broke off the tbs and tape it to the drill when I need it. Worth the cost? Hard to say. Replacement batteries are a racket no matter where you get them.

I have bought several these batteries with good results. On my last order, one of the batteries was defective. Amazon, immediately sent 2 more batteries to replace the defective one. AAAA+

Not a great fit into the charger

For the price it was perfect for my DeWalt 18 volts drill. As good as original batteries! Easily worth the price.

The battery doesn`t last at all, can't work with it. I wrote a message to have it elligible for a return, no news from Amazon or the vender.

Exactly what I wanted lasts as long as the original ones on a full charge.
