Having been a long time Fluke user, I actually like this meter a lot, and waaay cheaper than a Fluke. No, it's not going to measure capacitance or transistors, or give you accuracy down to 100th of a volt but for everyday circuit checking you can't go wrong with the built in GFI tèster. The included plug is great, no more trying to remember which side is hot and which side is neutral then trying to hold probes in place, just plug it in!

I own several multimeters including a couple of expensive Fluke meters. I purchased this to help run down some electrical issues that I was experiencing in my home office and shop.This is a well-built multimeter. The display is easy to read and the ability to measure not only voltage / current / resistance / continuity but to diagnose GFCI (ground-fault circuit interrupter) circuits and wiring defects in one tool makes it invaluable to me. [I am not a licensed electrician]

I really like the A/C plug-in cord. Makes measuring power at a wall outlet a snap and safer than probes.
