My son is using these for basketball. He is often getting knocked down in basketball and the padding provided in these shorts helps absorb some of that for him!

Got these for my 22-month-old grandson in anticipation of him starting to play more and more outside. These are well-made, lightweight shorts with pads in critical areas. It would be nice if the butt pad were a little longer; however, it seems adequate. They can be worn as is or under other shorts or a uniform. I like the black short and dark gray pads color scheme.The compression short is a nice sturdy fabric and the pads are fabric covered so somewhat protected from abrasion. The elastic waist band is about 3cm wide. I got the Youth Small size, which is the smallest. The shorts measure about 12.5" down the outside seam--from the top of the waitsband to the bottom of hem on the thigh. The shorts are quite stretchy, so I'm expecting these to fit him starting in a few months and probably lasting till he's 4 ish.I know his parents will have him wear these for biking, skate boarding, skating, and maybe even soccer. A premium product at a reasonable cost.

Love that the size small does fit my daughter… but that means they run small for good info. She had zero complaints about discomfort or anything of the sort. Happy with it!
