Cool Mist Humidifier,(4L Water Tank) Quiet Ultrasonic Air Humidifiers for Bedroom&Large Room/Adjustable/360 Rotation Nozzle/Auto-Shut Off Humidifiers for Babies Nursery&Whole House(Black)

Got an EcoBee smart thermostat and one of the things ii does is alert you to low and high humidity. I got surprised by an alert that house had dropped below 35% humidity, so decided to do something about it. First I got a ThermoPro TP357 hygrometer and a ThermoPro TP358 hygrometer so I can monitor the humidity in different parts of the house. Then I got this humidifier.The pluses are:Super quietFine mist does not dampen areas near it (i had a humidifier in the 90's and it was a carpet soaker)Definitely easy to clean - I am using filtered water and after two weeks it didn't need any more than a wipeAuto shut off - this is great because it runs out of water quick.This humidifier works perfectly fine, there are a couple of things I don't really like:It has a handle, but when I pick it up after it has shut off, water drips as I carry it. If I flip it upside down, water still drips out of the spray area, so I have a towel I leave by it to catch the drips when I take it for refill.It doesn't humidify a very larger area. At full blast, it can bump the humidity up by about 5% within a 5-6 foot radius, drops off to a much lower percentage over 6 feet away, and is out of water in 12-13 hours. At lowest setting it can only add a percent or two, but lasts about 30 hours. I want as much humidity as I can get to push that 35% to 40%, so I run it full tilt and am filling it twice a day. I think realistically it can adequately humidify about 150-200 square feet.I bought the wrong humidifier for what I wanted to accomplish. If I get another one, (I probably will, because this one only handles one room) I will be looking for a unit with a much larger tank that fills from the top - so I can take water to it instead of taking the tank to the water, and that covers a LOT more area. There are some "whole house" units I have seen here on Amazon that look good but they cost quite a bit more than this one.

Package arrived quickly. Unpacked, plugged in, filled with filtered water, turned all the way to high, and it immediately started putting out lots of mist into our very dry house. Within a short time our hygrometer began to show a slow & steady increase in our household humidity, and within a couple days, our entire 1600 sq/ft. house was up to 50% - which is the ideal moisture level.-Running on full-blast, it lasts for around 14 hours before needing to be refilled.-We are using carbon-filtered tap water from the door of our fridge, and after a week of 24/7 use, we have seen zero white residue in or around the unit.-The only noise whatsoever is an occasional gurgling from when the water fills the base.Highly recommend - great value!

I purchased this for my home office and have been really pleased. I was worried that the operation might be heard during meetings but it is so quiet that I cannot hear it, even while sitting next to it. The humidifier is very solid and well built. It puts out a lot of mist and I like that the mist output cap can be rotated 360 degrees. Refilling is easy by using the attached carrying handle, and the tank will hold just over a gallon of water. I also like that this will auto-shutoff when out of water and an empty light will illuminate. I strongly recommend this if you are looking for a solid, budget humidifier.

Received this Symdral Model SY-AH001 unit last night. Unit box shipped in Amazon box with large air pocket cushions around it. Unit box included the unit with a 4 ft cored and a zip lock bag with the manual and a replacement dust filter inside.Manual ("Symdral SY-AH001 User Guide") describes how to fill the unit and turn it on and off. Lists specifications of model, voltage (100-120V @50/60Hz), power usage (15W - 25W min to max), tank capacity 4.0L/1.06 gal, and mist output ( 60ml/h min to 300ml/h max). List support website as "[email protected]". Manufactured in Shenzhen, China.That's it. Nothing about how to clean the unit. Yellow stick on the front says to 1. not to use essential oils, 2. do not place on carpet floor, and 3. clean once a week.Operation. While unpacking the unit, I notice that the dust filter is on the bottom of the unit. That's were the air is pulled in. Makes sense now that you don't place this unit on carpet. Unit already had a filter installed. So I'm guessing the filter in the baggy is a replacement when needed. Place the unit on the fireplace of our family room (22x16). I washed out the tank. The large opening made that easy. I filled the tank with nearly 1 gallon of distilled water. I didn't use all the water in the gallon jug because the level has getting pretty close to the top. Made sure that the cap was screwed on tight, flipped the tank over, and carried it over to the unit using the nice handle.Turned the unit on and turned the knob up to almost max. I'm not sure why some people complain about the little blue on light. I could hardly see it. My cable box has a brighter blue light. Our indoor/outdoor thermometer showed indoor humidity at 37%. As of this writing, the humidity is now at 42% after 4 hours. Hardly hear the fan.We'll see how it performs over time. I did purchase the extra 4 year protection from Asurion for $7.99 since the unit only has a 30 day warranty and what I saw a few other reviews say about their units failing soon after 30 days.

I love this humidifier. Big tank for the water. Easy to clean, but must clean weekly. Very efficient and I think it’s super quiet. The nozzle that mists water is removable and can be pointed in any direction. Had several months with no issues

I purchased this humidifier for one of the kid’s bedrooms after he got sick, in the hopes that’s it would help his drainage issues at night. It’s very quiet and puts out a lot of water. I actually turned it all the way up and discovered that the windows were too wet in the morning from the cold temperatures outside. Overall, I have no problems with this and would recommend!
