Dr. MartensWomen's 1460 Ankle Boots

Wanted a pair of Dr Martens for a while now and saw these for £50 which was a steal, overall I find the shoes rather comfortable and extremely sturdy. Saying this though it will take a little while to get them 'worn in'. The one problem I have with them is not the fault of the shoes but rather the foot-well of my car and the shoes I am accustomed to, because they are much bigger than the shoes I wear more regularly I find driving in them a bit difficult as you cant 'feel' your feet and judge the pressure you are putting on as with shoes with as thinner sole the same this should improve however as time goes by and I get the shoes worn in and get used to wearing them.Overall a great set of footwear and well worth the money, my Dad has been wearing his pair for around ten years and they are as sturdy and as comfortable as ever just after such a long time the tred has worn down to almost nothing however this gives you an idea of how long they will last.

Love love love these boots! Due to a spinal condition I have added some memory foam insoles to the boots which make them more comfortable for me. However this isn't needed. I have been wearing them with 2 pairs of socks on (1 thicker pair) with them loosely tied up and this has seemed to help prevent blisters. I have gotten many compliments wearing these boots, and now all my colleagues want a pair. I looked on the official Dr Martens website and for exactly the same boots they are £100. So I took a risk and ordered these (plus saving £40 is a bonus) I'm so glad I got these. Will keep my feet lovely and warm in the winter months. I am currently wearing them in and I'm looking forward to the leather breaking and them becoming less stiff . Overall I cannot complain about the product. They are the real deal and would order these again from here without hesitation.

I did a lot of research before I bought these boots. I was worried that the fit would be too narrow as this is a problem I have with a lot of footwear. However the reviews I looked at have been correct, the fit is generous with width being no problem. I found the boots to be a little deep across the front of my foot, but a home made 2.5mm thick leather hide insert fixed this (and gives a much firmer and more comfortable footbed than just using regular comfort insoles).The boots can be bulled up nicely after you've worn them in. I wore them for a few hours each evening for a few days before wearing them for a full day. After three full days wear they're beginning to be very comfortable - definitely worth the effort.The boots are well made and will hopefully last for years.The price from Amazon is excellent, much more affordable than elsewhere.

I did not use these boots so often but the quality seems good and they are the same boots that you can find in the store.They are original, so do not worry to buy fake products. With a product 40% off, the idea to buy an unoriginal product makes sense. For my point of view, Dr Martens do not have the value of £130/£80 but if you want an iconic footwear, this is the price.Regarding the size, their fit as expected. Not too narrow, not to big.Obviously, I suggest to buy with item with 40% off and a good and timing delivery.

Finally, after all these years I decided to get a pair (call it a mid-life crisis if you will).They're the sort of boots that take a while to break in and then a bit longer to get them into their prime.The size 8 fit better than the 9 (I'm normally a 9!).So far I've managed to break them in around the house and 3 outside trips to pick the kids up from school.They're just starting to soften up.If you want instant comfort don't go for a pair of these - you have to spend time to break them in!What you'll get in return is a pair of boots that fit you like a glove (hang on - surely that should be a sock?)At some point they'll near to be ptreated to some proper boot polish but that looks like it'll be quite some time before I get to that point - the treated leather certainly protects the appearance.Invest in an iconic boot - I wish I'd done it 35 years ago!

My 11 year old son kicks the hell out of everything he wears, he has a ball at his feet permanently and nothing to date has survived him for a decent length of time that you would expect when spending about £50 a pair. Until now !!!! I bought them for school , slightly big but i knew they would be as a 2 would give no growing room. He wears them with 2 pairs of socks and i know they will take a little while to wear in. It is taking a little while and instruction for him to quickly get the hang of taking them off and on for pe etc. I knew this would be the case but he is getting the hang of them and it is a small price to pay for the quality. They are waterproof and his feet are well protected. Finally he has met his match with these. Its worth the extra cost as they should last longer.I will update in a few weeks as by then anything normally on his feet would be looking worse for wear. I bought mine from surfdome on Amazon

So I've been lusting for a pair of Docs for quite a long time now and I finally got one! I decided to have a treat and buy myself a present for Christmas. I ordered it on the 3rd of December and I already got it today! (6/12/11) How quick is that? Fantastic. So I quickly opened the box to see the shoes. I was super excited. I tried it on quickly to see if it's the right size. I must say, I am size 10 so I ordered size 10 and it's a bit big on me but nothing too uncomfortable. It's not like it's falling off or anything. Besides, I probably just haven't broken them in yet. I heard they require some breaking in so they shape to your fit. Unfortunately, I have to abstain and put it away and gift wrap it. I can't officially wear them til Christmas. Nevertheless! I thought the quality of the boots were beautiful and you can tell that it's durable (fingers crossed) and what a wonderful service. Very pleased.

I've been a fan of doc's for about 25 years now and even though I technically had to send this particular pair back due to my own personal fault I will always give docs high marks.

Très satisfaite. La couleur est comme sur la photo. Parcontre, comme c'est rigide à casser au début, je vous conseille de les relacer plus lousse et de mettre une boule de papier pour rehausser le dessus du pied avant de les porter.

Der Schuh ist super bequem, trotz direkten, langen Tragen, keine Blasenoder Schmerzen.Sieht toll aus, fühlt sich sehr wertig an, wie ich es von Dr. Martens gewohnt bin. 👍
