This is NOT a normal bottle of Cerakote. This is a tiny little bottle with what appears to be an eye drop bottle of catalyst. Not enough to do anything with. I called the manufacturer in Oregon and they said that no one has permission to put their product into other bottles. Their smallest amount is 4 oz for a reason. Very deceptive! The 4 oz from the manufacturer is $35 and this bottle is about 1/3 of that for $23? I can buy my own gloves and piece of copper wire as a hanger.

Exactly what I needed. The hooks and gloves saved me a trip to hardware store and was super easy to use. I just watched the video and followed the descriptions. I had a question, called their tech line and got some tips and a answer right away. Anyone that complains that this kit is too small doesn't know what they are doing. I mixed a third of this kit, had enough paint to paint my 1911 frame and with what was left over, I painted a golf club head I had sitting on my workbench. I never imagined Id have that much paint left over. I'll be doing the rest of my irons.

Gud stuff

The key to success with this product is preparation. 4-O steel wool, 440 grit sandpaper (Or finer) and acetone to degrease everything. Pay attention to ambient temperature and mix the paint and hardener per instructions. I took my time, used rubber gloves after soaking the parts in acetone. A filter to breathe through is a must as the fumes are pretty strong. My airbrush did a great job, I am thrilled with the results. Just as good if not better than the factory finish on one of my other pistols.
