Yellowbird Hot Sauce Combo (9.8 Oz 5-Pack)

Love this stuff. Review by flavor seems best.1. Yellowbird Serrano - sort of looks like and has the consistency of a well puréed salsa verde. Bright pickled scent and flavor...vinegar heavy but not over the top. Carrot base is there but not up front, which is good for a sauce like this. Good on anything you’d use more of a “classic” flavor southwestern sauce or pickled jalapeños. Heat is probably about a medium.2. Yellowbird Habanero - Smells like habanero, carrot, and garlic. Very smooth texture, like a long purée. Tangerine flavor comes on first, followed by the slightly fruity and amazing flavor of the habanero. Tangerine and habanero pair exceptionally well here. Heat comes on slow around a medium. I was worried the heat would be a bit too much to keep this enjoyable and boy was I wrong. My favorite sauce by far.3. Yellowbird Blue Agave Sriracha - Smell reminds me of the rooster sriracha sauce. Consistency is very similar. Flavor really steps up here. You get the blue agave right up front, so it’s sweet like the rooster sauce. But not over the top. The tangerine helps even out the agave. And the flavor of those ripe red jalapeños. This would be awesome anywhere you’d use the rooster sauce. Heat is honestly a med to a med-high due to there being so much jalapeño in this sauce. It’s about the same as the rooster sauce, maybe a hair warmer.4. Yellowbird Jalapeño - I think I get carrot, vinegar, maybe lime zest on the nose? Thinnest sauce of the 4. A little sweet, maybe from the carrot. Nice ripe jalapeño flavor, with a hint of lime in there. The mildest of the 4, maybe a lower medium heat.I love these sauces. I’m a convert. The habanero is good on smoked ham. Really good actually. That habanero flavor is just phenomenal on it. If you’re worried about heat, none of these are much hotter than about a medium unless you just taste it straight from a spoon or something. Once on food, they blend nicely. I can’t say it enough...try them. You won’t be disappointed.

I like the serrano the best but they're all excellent. I don't like a hot sauce that's all hot and no taste, these actually have great flavor. Glad I got the pack with the big 9.8 oz bottles. And they're squeeze bottles, genius!** Update**The Scoville unit ratings don't seem right but maybe there's other factors in how hot a sauce is. To me, the order from mildest to hottest is:1. Serrano, very mild and tastes fantastic. Goes great on eggs and hashbrowns.2. Sriracha, pretty mild and tastes great. I use it with Asian foods.3. Jalapeno, a little hotter, probably on the high side of mild.4. Habanero, hotter yet but still well within the medium category. Great flavor. I typically don't like habanero sauces but I really like this one, not sure why this one is different.5. Ghost pepper, far and away the hottest. I had a couple of hot wings with this on them and I had to eat a half-pint of ice cream to put out the flames. Doesn't seem real hot at first, it takes a couple minutes for the heat to build. Drinking water had no effect, I would've been hurting without the ice cream. The good thing is that the heat stays on the tip of your tongue, it doesn't get into your throat. Great flavor but HOT!!I'm really glad I read reviews before hand and took the tip to buy the 5-pack in the bigger 9.8-oz bottles. You get a lot more sauce for your buck that way. Love the sauces, I will buy again.

As a hot sauce connoisseur, I maintain a large inventory of hot sauce and use it on just about everything but ice cream. All 5 of these versions of Yellowbird are exceptionally good. The other unique and very neat thing is they come in a squeeze bottle. This is genius packaging, never seen it before and love it. These sauces provide heat but not too much and a lot of really excellent flavor. These are on the gourmet side of hot sauce as the ingredients are more than vinegar and peppers and the result is a more complex flavor that complements almost any food...but still not ice cream. Thanks Yellowbird, will perpetually keep these in stock!

These sauces are incredible. Not overly hot, but loaded with flavor. These are also not loaded with a bunch of sugar and stuff you can't pronounce. All of the ingredients are things you may have in your kitchen. But, most of all, they taste better than most. About as hot as Cholula or Tobasco. Drizzle over a rice bowl, eat on wings, pizza, burgers, whatever. Got the 9.8 oz. four pack. New go to condiments in our house. I will be trying the ghost pepper sauce next. And when time to replenish, I will be buying the pantry size bottles. Great product. Great people.Just a side note. If you plan to gift these, and are worried about presentation, have them delivered to yourself and re- package them. Not a big deal if they are for you, or you are not worried about it.Highly recommended.

All felt clean and fresh. A little too much sugar in the sauces.Agave Sriracha is similar to good ole Roster Sriracha except this is zestier. Not to hot but really good 5/5The jalapeño one was just ok. Felt like a poor man version of the Agave Sriracha 3 out of 5. I wouldn’t buy this again.The Serrano one is very good flavor, but not as great as one review hyped it up. Pretty hot but hardly a killer. 4 out of 5.Habanero was spicy with a nice fruit flavor. On the verge of real hot for me. 4.5 out of 5The Ghost Pepper is my favorite. Hotter than what I typically use, but the smokiness made me keep squeezing on my taco. I may pay for it tomorrow

Deliciously spicy. All five flavors are made with organic carrots and have a great spicy kick. My favorite is the jalapeno and habanero. The ghost pepper is too smoky for my liking, but my husband loves it. This is a great set to get and have especially since their is a flavor for everyone. Great branding and delicious.

I am a hot sauce fan and this hot sauce is the best! Each flavour is outright amazing. Most hot sauces are just spicy but this hot sauce is spicy but with flavour!! I can’t wait to buy more! 👀

Lovely variety of flavours and heat. My favourite is the Blue Agave Sriracha, so tasty!
