Didn’t expect the drinking nozzle to come with the tubing
I ordered the Osprey hydration tubing for two reasons. First I was going to replace the quick disconnect on my Manta 24 hose with a solid tube. But decided not to. Second reason is I will use the backup tubing to help dry the hydration bladder by placing the tubing inside the bladder to allow air circulation to aid the drying process. This is how I dried the Osprey hydration back pack bladder I use for cycling. I thought I was ordering just a piece of tubing but when I opened the package the one end had a new style nozzle on it which I didn’t expect. Thank you Osprey!

Details
The product I received included a bite valve. I haven't tested it yet, but will update this when I do. The photos may make it seem like it articulates in the middle, but it does not. The hose, not including the bite valve, is exactly 38.75" long. The packaging claims it's .25" (Inner diameter? Outer? Dunno.) but I can't accurately verify this. Same thing for its claim that it works with all Osprey brand reservoirs.

Exactly what I needed
I agree with other reviewers that this short drinking hose is a bit expensive; however, it saved me time being delivered to my door. My time is far more valuable. Secondly, I know for a fact that it is rated to be used as a drinking hose. Peace of mind is also valuable. Third, this same item costs $10 at REI. I’m super happy.

I thought I was just buying the hose but it also came with the mouthpiece, an unexpected bonus!

Did not fit existing water bladder.
This did not fit my existing’ the fitting on thecend of the hose was too tight.

Shut the car door on my original hose. Was worried about finding as good of quality as the original and put off buying for months until the week before my trip. This was perfect (although a few inches longer). Stop looking elsewhere, just buy it and be done. As other reviews said, it comes with a mouth piece.
