It assembled nicely. I took my time lining up the screw threads. Light is adjustable and works well for my sewing room. Looks pretty too.

I needed a floor lamp for a corner but didn't want it to be distracting to my art around it. This lamp looked nice and minimalist. It arrived in a flat box the size of a regular large envelope, which surprised me. They managed to fit the base and all the components in there no problem. No styrofoam from what I remember.I screwed the pieces together and it works great. It's very thin so it's important to get the lamp rod screwed into the base tightly. so the rod doesn't lean. Given the minimal design, this is a delicate piece. Make sure to put it in a low traffic area away from grabbing hands.The lights are controlled by a foot switch. There are three brightness settings. This lamps put out a good amount of light so I set mine mostly on the lowest setting. The lamps are totally adjustable, but you're not going to want to point them toward people's field of vision. The bulbs are bright enough to make you want to look away if you look directly at them. I have mine set up so one is facing the floor and the other two are illuminating each wall. Works great that way!

I love this tree floor light. It is super simple to assemble. It has three light levels - very bright, bright, dim - that fit every need. The fact that the lights can be positioned in many different angles is a definite benefit. Highly recommend!

I believe it was a mistake.ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOWSo this thing works, and has 3 levels of brightness, and looks decent. Great. But there is a switch, foot pedal type thing that you use to adjust the brightness and turn it on or off... but it is only inches from the base. So if you have this in a corner (which you most certainly do as it belongs in a corner people!) and there are any other obstructions to the corner like an end table, a plant, or whatever... it can be difficult to get to the switch... because its on the freaking floor. Why wouldn't they make it so the switch is higher? I have this plugged into a smart outlet.. so when i tell alexa to turn the light on, it comes on at full brightness every single time, even if you turned it off at low brightness.. which defeats the purpose of my lazy *** telling alexa to turn it on, because now unless i want to deal with this murderous brightness while trying to binge watch some stupid show, I NOW HAVE TO GET UP AND CRAWL TO THE FLOOR LIKE A SIMPLE DOG AND DEGRADE MYSELF. This is the worst thing to happen to a human ever.Make the switch higher and dont make people live like animals.

I love the style and it puts out great light. Floor pedal is also very convenient. Great price point also

I've had this lamp for almost 2 years now, and I love it. It's really bright to the point where it can almost light up my entire room by itself without needing the help of my ceiling light- and the adjustable branches are really flexible. The three brightness levels are also fantastic-- I love dimming it down just before I sleep. The switch IS a floor one like other reviews mentioned, but thankfully I have mine directly next to my bed and what I did was I just taped the switch to the side of my nightstand. It's actually incredibly convenient not to have to get out of bed to reach an overhead switch. You just have to think about where you're going to put this particular lamp before buying. I'd also note that it's not as tall as most floor lamps, so that's something to be aware of as well.After moving it to another socket last week it refused to turn back on beyond an initial flash of light. I tried a few different sockets, but it was crackling when I'd connect it-- the adapter wasn't working anymore I guess. I saw other people saying to call Brightech cause they have great customer service and lo and behold, they did. It's COVID-19 season right now, so their automated message told me to expect to wait more than 30 minutes for a representative- no problem, I have nothing if not time on my hands right now I thought. But within five minutes, I was already speaking to a customer rep who has a new adapter for me on the way in the most quick, pleasant and painless customer service call I've had in recent memory. I know where I'm buying all my lighting products from now on!

I was looking for a BRIGHT light so I typed “bright light” in and the reviews on this lamp were good. Let me tell you…. This lamp is PERFECT for what I needed. It’s thin so it fits perfectly where I needed it. It’s sturdy. It’s easy to assemble (hint: Start from the top up and pull the cord down as you go. Then, pull cord out through the hole. It’s a little hard to pull at first and I was afraid to break it, but just pull… it’s fine.) And the best thing is that it’s BRIGHT. 3 levels and I’m probably only gonna use the first 2. Some reviews didn’t like the foot switch but it’s not a problem for me.

I liked it initially, but noticed it kept getting dimmer and dimmer as more led elements burned out in the span of a little more yhan a year. They also blink annoyingly before burning out. I’ve contacted customer support asking for a replacement as should be covered by the three year warranty, and supported my request with the detailed purchase invoice. Customer support was prompt and helpful, and has sent replacement parts which completely fixed my problem. Now it's good as new, very bright, hope it lasts.

I only discovered when I unpacked it that it was fitted with a US plug and is for 110 volts. I got in touch with the manufacturer who replied "Our lamps are designed to be used with standard U.S. voltage and are not designed for international use. Additionally our warranty is only valid within the US." I have alerted Amazon UK to this problem but it is still for sale on the website.

So now I have to buy a US to UK plug adaptor! I didn't see any warning of this in the product details.
