Scotch Tape Runner Refill, 0.31 in x 49 ft (055-R-ESF)

This is a great product but it has been redesigned and no longer fits the old, blue dot runner dispenser. The photos still show the old style refills, but you will receive the new style refills when you order! If you want to use this product you will need to purchase the new clear version of the dot roller. The listing needs to be updated to avoid confusion and frustration for customers.

Exactly what I was looking for, with a great price and great quality.

The product I got was the Scotch Creative Tape Roller Refill, and yet it did not fit in the Scotch Creative Tape Roller. I have tried this refillable tape roller with both these refills and the old design in the red and yellow plaid packaging. Neither of them work. They say it's easy to take the cartridge out and replace with the new, but when it came time to refill, it was NOT fitting. I don't know what is the proper refill for that tape roller but it isn't this one. I am not the first person to have this problem, and I wish they made it a lot easier to figure out what refill goes with which roller. I'd give this zero stars if I could.

In the past, this has always been my "go to product." Imagine my surprise when they didn't fit my refillable dispensers. Now, I was completely out. So, then I ordered the full kind and I hope the refills will fit in them. I ruined three "cartridges. "

These 4 new tape runners by Scotch have a new mechanism and they will NOT FIT in the old dispensers.I have not been able to get to the right page to ask for a return label or some other thing I can do to use these runners.I just wish you would provide a way to respond directly with someone than can solve problems.Sorry this is not the platform to use but I am totally frustrated as to why the product was changed with no heads up you were getting a different product.

H O W E V E R … 3M apparently decided to change the applicator AND the product within to some nasty S T R I N G Y Formula!! SO, be F O R E W A R N E D !! Although I am reviewing the Scotch dot roller refill here, my comments are for both the refill and the dot roller itself. I have tried a gazillion different dot rollers. Some of them are so awful, I can't understand anybody trying to sell them in the first place. This Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller is the absolute best, bar none. Smooth, easy, clean and dependable with every stroke. And refilling is a snap, literally. Just snap the used one out and snap the new one in. No threading, no priming.I also use the Scotch Advance Tape Glider (the big pink ATG gun) but when you want something small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and for tight spaces, this is it! Buy it, you won't regret it. I use it for absolutely every project.

Really love this tape runner. I scrapbook all our trip and it works perfectly to secure my picture into a scrapbook. This is the best tape runner.
