This story is a jaw dropping real account of how a traumatic event can effect a persons entire life . The way the main character survives every horrible thing that has happened to her and still sees the good is an amazing tribute to survivors of abuse and life altering illness. A great story that takes you thru the decades with great song choices along the way to set the mood.

I gave this book 5 stars because I really enjoyed it and I felt it was written beautifully. The author did an incredible job with imagery; at times, I felt I was there! Very incredible and rare story! I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story or anyone who is looking for a little encouragement and strength! Great book! I read it in literally one day.

Waste of Money

The Kennedy Half-Dollar Wow, what an incredible story written beautifully and courageously! From start to finish, I was on an emotional journey. I was truly inspired by Seely's strength of character... to be able to pick up the pieces after the murder, her car accident and her illness. Seely's story puts my own life in perspective for which I am grateful to the author.

I found the first third of the book to be suspenseful and page turning. After that I wondered how it would keep going, but it did. Knowing that it was a true story added to the emotions that I felt while reading. Well written - I like the extras (music and self-talk). A very courageous story.

Once I picked up the book,it was hard to put it down.I could have read it all in one sitting,it was that enjoyable.I found the Author's humor quite entertaining.I also admired her strength throughout the story.She went through a lot and was able to come through well.I would recommend this book to everyone.

Mahree is my sister and I know when she puts her mind to doing something it turns out good ! Well written ! I am glad she wrote this book. Good for you Mar. I am proud of you ! What's next ?
