After a couple months a western screech owl moved in full time. The house seems sturdy and so far is in great shape and holding up. Would recommend.

I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble, but also that it is very small. Make sure you look at the dimensions to make sure it’s the right size for your space.

This owl house is well made and easy to install. We placed this on a tree and so far, this has held up well in rain and a late snow too. We've yet to see if this will attract any owls, but I can say that this feels very sturdy and blends well with natural environments!

Quality material and easy to put together

I was excited to introduce the Screech Owl House into my garden, hoping to provide a safe haven for local wildlife while adding a unique touch to my outdoor space in Southern CA. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been far from satisfying, leading me to caution potential buyers.Upon receipt and during assembly, which was straightforward enough, I noticed early signs of inferior craftsmanship. The excitement of adding this piece to my garden quickly turned into disappointment due to the following reasons:Durability Concerns: Shortly after installation, the owl house began showing distressing signs of wear. The wood started to come unglued, resulting in gaps as wide as half an inch between some of the wooden panels. This is not only an aesthetic issue but a functional one, particularly concerning for a product designed to be exposed to the elements.Water Leakage: The most critical flaw came with the first rain. The gaps caused by the poor gluing job allowed water to infiltrate the interior of the owl house, completely defeating its purpose of providing a dry and safe space for the owls.Overall Craftsmanship: It's evident that the quality of materials and assembly is not up to par. For a product marketed as a handmade, durable outdoor animal shelter, the reality is a poorly constructed item that fails to meet basic expectations.In conclusion, while the idea of the Screech Owl House is charming and the inclusion of mounting screws and a bag of wood shavings is thoughtful, the execution falls dramatically short. The lack of attention to detail and poor durability makes this product a poor investment for anyone looking to support their local wildlife. I cannot recommend the Screech Owl House under its current quality and urge potential buyers to look for better-constructed alternatives.

I've assembled it but not yet installed it in a tree - waiting for better weather. Went together easily and is sturdy.

These are really nice, however, for the price it would be nice to have the roof actually line up. Ended up splitting the wood, but silicone caulked it. Makes me kinda mad.

Worth the $.
