As any musician knows, the successful use of computer hardware in music requires low latencies. This way when you strum, the sound coming out of the computer comes out at the same time with little delay. This cable uses the Windows driver model audio driver, which means your latencies are so long that the sound doesnt come out of your pc for a full second after playing. Of course, that makes it impossible to use live or even while recording multiple tracks. In addition, the freely available low latency driver AISO4ALL doesn't work properly with it. Even on the best settings with the minimum buffer setting the latency is still too long for live play or recording.In addition, the cable is very poorly built. As you can see in the image I've attached, there is no strain relief on the computer plug. Strain relief is necessary to prevent damage to the conductors. It's likely that if anyone actually found a use for this that the cable would break rather quickly at this junction. You are basically using the solder joints in the plug as your reinforcement, which is a recipe for disaster.So save your money and buy something from Behringer or another low cost company. This cable is complete garbage and is being returned right after I write this.
