Love Is the Devil Audio CD – CD, May 1, 2014

to come along in decades. I own thousands of cds. I can count on my hands the number that I own than have me loving every single song on the album. This is one of those. Pork Chop Willie is great, but what really makes this band stand out is the violin player Melissa Tong. Yeah, that's right I said a violin player in a blues band. Of course when you think about it it kind of makes sense. The violin by its nature is a sad and mournful instrument.I saw this band at 'Red's in Clarksdale, Mississippi. I had no idea who they were, but when that violin came in I literally felt the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. That has only happened to me once before: the first time I saw Bruce Springsteen.If this is the future of the blues you can count me in. I can not recommend it enough. It is a brilliant piece of work!! I give you my word!!!
