Not the fit and finish I expected, flea market quality.
First I'll say, ALL OF IT, the pouch and three pliers are imported. Does it matter ? Yes, all the pliers are is a "blank body" (I call it)with a set of special tips welded on the end. Ingenious kind of, in looking around there are many other similar designs to choose from, worth Eighty Bucks? NOT AT ALL, because the quality is pitiful. The welded on pieces do no line up precisely, the two halves are not ground to the same exactness. The edges are rough and leave marks on the tubing, and you will likely have a small amount of kinking in the bend.Looking at the company website, they stress over and over their quality, how they've invested in machinery to produce high quality products. Well, these are low quality like you find at the flea market. Let me say, we all know by now that there are many high quality tools that are imported, Gearwrench is one that comes to mind, my point is it all depends on what image a company desires to have, and, uphold. V8 is all talk about quality, but falls way short. I'm lowering my rating from 3 stars down to 2.
