A fun twist on the usual countdown for us Die Hard lovers. It’s not the most high end product- it’s just laser cut wood and could easy be broken by hand. But - it’s amusing and unless you’re trying to snap it should hold up just fine. Hans is attached via magnets - he seems to stay in place well. The explosion backboard has two small Velcro dots you can place to attach it. I didn’t see those at first - so make sure you thoroughly check the bag for them. The tower fits into the base via wooden pegs. All of this should breakdown at the end of the season to store.

Got this for my MIL and she loved it. I checked before I gifted it and it had all the right pieces and they fit together fine. It is fragile though. While it arrived intact, on the way to gift it, a tiny piece of the helicopter broke, which was a bummer, so be careful. But we fixed it with some wood glue. Overall, super fun and great gift, especially for the price.

This arrived in 3 pieces - the base, the tower with Hans attached, and the explosion/helicopter. I love this - the tower easily connects to the base, Hans slides perfectly and there are no defects except, like many other reviews, my tower cannot connect to the explosion/helicopter piece. Not sure what is missing to make it connect but I'll just super glue it. I would rate it 5 stars if they top attached.

I LOVE THIS!! I am a true Die Hard fan and to find this and use it to countdown to Christmas was the best find ever!!! If I could leave it out year round I would. Recommend this for any fan on the movie or the actors in the movie. I kept it on my desk at work and it was a big hit with everyone who saw it. It is nice and sturdy and was easy to take off the base for storage until next Christmas.

Cool concept and actually looks nice, but there is no magnet for the top piece and it came with a broken propeller (I do recognize small wooden pieces can easily break though).I am not the only one that has mentioned this in reviews, so rather than request a new one, I guess I'll just tape it or get a magnet. It is a bit disappointing the quality control has gone down so much since previous reviews.The rest of the item is fairly sturdy and fits together nicely. For the price, it is not bad.

It's so nice! I've been wanting one for so long and was very excited to finally find it. The two pieces popped together very nicely with a little effort, though it did appear that it wouldn't match up at first. 3 small, circular velcro patches were provided to apply the explosion. I nearly threw them out, so if you get that one, be on the lookout for those! Hans slides up and down very smoothly and seems to be secure. I'm so happy with it and can't wait to countdown to our Die Hard Christmas! I'm already thinking of other occasions I can use it for so it can remain on display year-round.

I ordered this based on a buddy's possession and numerous reviews that it was "all that." This one is not. The graphics are fine, though not as hi-def as pictured. The size is as expected. Hans Gruber is NOT. Hans is attached by a magnet, which is fine, and workable IF THERE IS SOMETHING TO MAGNETIZE TO. There is not--at least on the one I received. It's all wood. This is not a problem, unless you're looking for something ferrous (i.e. magnetizable) for Hans to attach to; the alternative being you don't mind Hans not being there to fall off the Nakatomi Plaza (at least it's spelled correctly)--but then, why buy it? VERY disappointed. This was s'posed to be a Christmas gift. It won't be.I even tried using HDD magnets from the backside (so to speak), and no dice. There were velcro dots to attach the explosion scene.YMMV
