This new volume quite supersedes the out-of-print Proust Album or Maurois's 1975 volume. The English-language version closely tracks the original French version (Marcel Proust : l'arche et la colombe), apart from some very minor differences in lay-out.This is a perfect gift, whether in the English or the French version, for any avid Proustian. Or even for any reader newly interested in Proust.
