Advanta Supplements Omega3 Fish Oil, 60 Softgels (Pharmaceutical Grade Omega-3)

I have not yet tried to product so cannot review on its effectiveness, I will followup later once I have used it for a bit.However, I was under the impression that the serving size was only 1 pill per day but instead it is 2 pills. I would prefer to only take one pill a day in the evening. There are 60 pills in the bottle and each pill has 750mg of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, 400mg of EPA, 300mg of DHA, and 50mg of Other Omega-3 Fatty Acids. So if you take the full serving of 2 a day you can double those numbers above (as written on the nutrition label). This EPA/DHA is very good as you can see on the other reviews and it is great for the money but Costco offers a one-pill-a-day at the same or very close to the same EPA and DHA as above. I will try this and if I like it, will probably switch to the 1-a-day Costco version.UPDATE 01/03/2012: I have been really bad at taking these daily but when I do remember, I take the entire dosage all at once. Instead of one in the morning and one in the evening, I just take 2 at once. The wonderful thing that I can comment on is that I don't get ANY fishy burps or nasty taste in my mouth. We all know the good effects of fish oil and I have to say, after much research, this is a very very good one.

While I have tried store brands such as natures own which really had no fishy smell because of some coating on the shell I noticed it did not works as well as this product. I am mainly giving it 4 stars because I did have the fishy burps but I was able to reduce them by taking it and hour before a fair sized meal. Otherwise after taking this product I did notice differences in my inflammation and in my skin. I would recommend this product because it works great but just be aware of the fish burp trade off and balancing it with your meals to reduce this feeling.

I am in a constant search to find the fish oil with the highest EPA + DHA because I take 2000 mg daily and I hate having to take 8 of them. The description says "This highly concentrated Pharmaceutical Grade Omega-3 Fish Oil delivers 800mg of EPA and 600mg of DHA" In my opinion, that implies that there is 1400mg of the mix in one pill.. It is actually per serving, which is 2 pills. So I got half of what I expected for my money and could have definitely found a better price elsewhere. To its advantage, there is no fishy aftertaste or fish burps, and doesn't cause upset stomach.

I am a middle-aged woman dealing with menopausal issues. I read many articles that increasing Omega 3 intake will help with hot-flashes, weight-gain and many other related issues. I researched looking for a supplement with the highest EPA and DHA content per serving and found Advanta to have very high EPA and DHA content per serving.My dog was recently diagnosed with cancer, and I have incorporated the use of Advanta Omega 3 into her daily regimen as an anti-inflammatory.I have been using Advanta Omega 3 for a few months and have been completely satisfied with it. It is easy to take and no fishy aftertaste.I thoroughly encourage all to try it for awhile and test it for yourselves.

Felt a difference. Still had fish burps but now bad. Read the nutritional facts. If you know about fish oil nutritional facts are critical when choosing. And this is what won me over. Plus great customer care.

I have no idea why I tried this supplement. Probably because the reviews were so good. I've been using this for only about a week and the fishy aftertaste is very bad. After 2.5 hours, I'm still burping fish. I have always used Barlean's and I'll stick with that. I'm going to give the remainder of these supplements to hubby.

great that I did not have a after taste but did not feel that much better for the price I will try it one more time if I don't feel better will try something else.

They are not the best omega 3 out there but for the price they are ok.. I have used different omegas and I didn't really like these.. They left me an aftertaste..
