I purchased the Ereagle Trail Camera ( ERE-E1B ) on the recommendation of a friend and I am pleased with the results of the daytime photos I got so far.. The setup instructions are clear and the "English is English" which means very readable - without "translation" like many competitors equipment. The instructions and latest firmware updates are loaded so you don't have to search and download them from a separate website.The camera has 12 AA batteries ,which means it will remain in the field, for a looong time between visits, to replace the batteries. Nothing is worse than having to visit a site in two weeks to replace the batteries like one of my cameras from another supplier. Just when the scent is washed away - he returns to put his smell all over the place because the batteries need to be replaced. Scent Control is important to a serious wildlife observer.The photos were crisp and well focused from, close proximity to the border of the area, included in view. Color rendition has been excellent in low to high Sun. The side facing PIR sensors help sense the subject as it enters the range of the camera so that a centered image is more likely. Sandhill cranes walked by and were captured at the point where I would have "taken the shot."Recent thunderstorms have shown the camera to be properly sealed from the weather and reliable in the field. Trail cam pictures are OK, it broadcasts network like it's supposed to, but all my trouble comes from the poorly made Android app. It will not show me any pictures or allow me to access any settings. The Smart Detect app main screen is all I get. I successfully connected to the network, successfully connected to the camera(within the app), but I get "No Files Found" in the app. When I take the SD card and put it in my computer, I have 50+ pictures on it. I get no settings in the app that allows me to turn off the camera, or change time, date, etc. even though the manual shows images of it on that screen. If the seller wants to reply with some possible troubleshooting, I'll gladly change my review if I get it working. But I will be returning if I can't get it working in a few days.*edit - Ended up returning it. Never got any assistance from the manufacture. Don't waste your money on this product.

I purchased this camera a couple months ago and immediately filled it up with twelve AA batteries. Setup is easy although I can't figure out how to use the color LCD to setup the shot. When I look at the screen all I see is my head. There has to be a better place to put the LCD monitor to make it useful. Maybe a flip out screen on the side that you could see when behind the camera and aiming the camera.The first few days I set it to capture still images. The results were good. The image quality was very good for the price. Next test was with daytime video. Again very good quality. Next was a few days of night still images and video. The result was both stills and video were out of focus. Not just a little out of focus but it was almost hard to tell the difference between a raccoon and a opossum. I have tried it a couple times with no change. I have sent two emails to the manufacturer with no response at all.

I like the quality of the picture it takes, but the view-finder quit working after checking the first set of pictures. It's a decent camera, but does not really justify the price. Others are much cheaper that do just as good. Would be worth it if the viewfinder worked. I'm scared to buy the manufacturers other products due to this.

I was able to get two pictures out of this camera and then it completely stopped working. This is a Dud. Do Not Buy!

Work's perfect ! The trail camera is very good for wildlife observing. It's really easy to use and I especially like its light weight. The image and videos quality are very good. It's really a good idea for birthday and festival gift. Great price, works flawlessly. I highly recommend this product.
