I cleaned area for use the product didn’t stick for long. Was not too happy with product

I live in an old house, and have tried everything I can think of to “air seal” my windows and doors. There is a window in our stairwell in particular that no matter what I do, there is always a draft. This window tape seems to have done the trick. I washed the window surface with a damp cloth, let the surface dry and applied the tape. The window tape adhered well to the surface of the window frame. This window tape isn’t thin either (I was worried when I selected this item it would be scotch tape thin). This tape is more like duct tape thickness (my best comparison). The tape was easy to apply, did not “fold over” on itself easily and didn’t take the finish off of the window frame (I’m not sure if this will be the case after it has been on the window all winter, but I will update if something changes). I recommend this if you have done countless other things to try to fix a drafty window (rope caulk, expanding foam, draft seals, window shrink wrap plastic etc).

Good heavy duty tape with good adhesion. I will have to wait until spring to verify how removable it is after the weathering. I will try to update at that time.

I thought this would work to air proof my windows. It's not quite sticky enough. It does make difference in the draft. I periodically check to make sure the tape is still in place.

Fell off almost immediately.

easy to use and install

I applied the tape about a month ago and it is peeling off of my window. It does not seem to have any impact on keeping the draft out of my home and keeping the rooms warmer.
