The Tailgate Handle backup camera is specifically designed for select Ford trucks. Your aftermarket receiver must feature an integrated video monitor and a composite video camera input. With the Ford Tailgate Handle rear-view camera, you'll be able to view what's behind you on your in-dash receiver's video monitor when you put your vehicle in reverse. Ford Tailgate Handle Camera: The tailgate handle rear-view camera will replace the original tailgate handle. You will need to remove the factory Ford tailgate handle and then install the new tailgate handle assembly in place of it (No mounting hardware is provided). Power & Signal Connections: The tailgate handle camera includes a 22' composite video cable which will need to be routed through a hole in the bed behind the tailgate and up to the dash, where it connects to the aftermarket head unit. A 30" power/ground cable is supplied on the camera end to tap into power and ground at the reverse light. Parking Guide Line on/off Selectable: Parking guide lines are provided on the video signal to aid you in backing up the vehicle.
