Cardea Child Safety Cable Window Handle Restrictor Lock with Security Anti-Tamper Screws uPVC Suitable

It's a simple device, well made and does everything as stated.Looks neat when fitted.I installed it on my PVC windows with no problem at all, pre-drilling the holes as needed of course. The instructions are clear about that.The only thing I'd say is that it came with "1 way" security self-tapping screws and as I wanted the flexibility of removing it later for any reason, I switched those for cross-head screws from my spares box. I guess the ones that come in the pack work with an ordinary screwdriver, but I didn't try them to find out so am not sure. Have some spares at the ready if you're not sure.

Great product, reduces the need for drilling holes in your windows! I wasnt keen on drilling into my new windows, this window was a small toilet window and against my better judgement i had it installed to open. I will buy another for my fire escape window which has a restrictor button on it but these give extra peace of mind that little people wont topple out of the window when being curious.

Relatively easy to fit. My biggest complaint is that I would have liked the cable to have been a little longer, but I understand that it is this length to comply with regulations.

Got this to stop a stray cat getting into my bathroom window, it worked as family no longer leave it wide open for the stray to come in and pee all over the damned house.
