Artisan Malt Vinegar - 250ml

We first tried this in a restaurant while away recently. One of us, a vinegar on everything type, the other ever only on chips, and we both absolutely loved it! We tried to find it in some local farm shops but had no luck so we're happy to find it here. To me is tastes like a cross between malt and apple cider and is absolutely delicious.

Great malt vinegar, much better than the leading brand and supermarket own brands. Well worth the price.

Great to have some proper vinegar that has quality and flavour in it. Definitely value for money as I bought a box of 3, but hand on heart I didn't know about the health benefits as I put vinegar on all of my food 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Yes it's s expensive compared to supermarket "malt" vinegar but the supermarket stuff isn't really Malt Vinegar. This is the true article, and boy you can taste the difference. A little goes a long way. If you're an vinegar addict like me I'm sure you'll love it. Wish they'd consider making their own pickled onions or shallots.

Great flavour makes your chips taste the best you ever had

I was looking for a replacement for the excellent Aspall's Golden Malt Vinegar which was wonderful but discontinued-why , Aspall's why??. This is very expensive and in an annoying tall slim bottle that doesn't fit most of my kitchen cupboards. It's tasty but has more of a strong balsamic flavour rather than malt vinegar. Good and, of course, much better than Sarson's. Pleased to support smaller British food producers but still prefer the delicious and cheaper Aspall's.

Ich bin von dem Artisan Malt Vinegar mehr als begeistert. Eigentlich hatte ich ihn gekauft, weil es in einem meiner Rezepte stand und ich - wenn schon, denn schon - einen "gescheiten" Malt Vinegar nutzen wollte. Insbesondere, weil ich schon wusste, dass ich nur ein bisschen davon im Rezept brauche und den Rest irgendwie anders nutzen muss. Dann erinnerte ich mich daran, dass ich das schon mal in London gegessen hatte, auf den Pommes. Mittlerweile kann ich nur noch Süßkartoffelpommes essen, aber ich habe mir angewöhnt auch hier den Malt Vinegar drüberzuschütten. Und allein der Geruch löst direkt Erinnerungen an London aus, ich bin in Gedanken sofort wieder dort. Außerdem schmecken die Pommes wie dort. Der Artisan Malt Vinegar ist wirklich, wirklich top. Ich hebe ihn im Keller in einem Schrank auf, so dass er lichtgeschützt ist und nicht zu warm wird. Seit ich ihn im Juli 2023 gekauft habe, ist er offen, hat aber durch diese Lagerung nichts von seinem Geschmack verloren, ich kann keinerlei Minderung der Qualität feststellen. Sobald er leer ist, werde ich definitiv wieder eine neue Flasche kaufen. Es lohnt sich allemal. Und an dieser Stelle sei auch gesagt, dass die Verpackung der Flasche top war! Sie war wirklich sehr, sehr gut verpackt und ich war heilfroh, dass sie unbeschadet hier ankam. Dafür zahle ich dann auch gerne den entsprechenden Preis. Fazit: Diesen Artisan Malt Vinegar würde ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen und werde ihn definitiv wieder kaufen. Perfekt auf Pommes und um das "Urlaubsgefühl" aus Großbritannien wieder aufleben zu lassen.
