This may have a genuine gardening purpose, but I wouldn't know, as I have been too busy using it to slay the recent zombie uprising in my neighborhood. Very sturdy for its price, and being foldable makes it twice as cool, not that the undead would notice or care. I'd recommend getting two, for better finishing-move-beheading technique.

This is technically a garden tool but scratches thst knife collector itch for me. You can swing it open- not super smooth but it does work. Highly recommend if you want a cool new tool/knife!

Overall build quality is probably average to slightly above. Folding/unfolding is a little awkward, but probably as good as they could make it considering how compactly it folds while still opening up to a sickle. Blade steel is OK but not awesome, the locks are similar, OK, but not awesome. Reading this, you might think I don't like it, which would not be true, it is a cool tool, and something every zombie defense bugout bag should have. Quality is 'average' but the price is less than one would expect considering what you get, or to say it another way, quality is actually better than I expected for the price. I paid a bargain basement price for an average to above average tool, making it a good buy if it is something you can use.Oh, and if you don't have zombies, it works pretty well for it's intended use, cutting tall grass, weeds, and small (like pencil sized) brush. The blade comes pretty sharp, and the angle is good, so it works pretty well. Blade holds an edge OK at best but is easy to re sharpen to a pretty good edge.
