10/10.First of all, my order was supposed to arrive sometime between the 16th of March and the 11th of April. It arrived on the 5th of March, which was a very nice surprise.This Gorka-4 looks great, but the one I received is a lot more green than the one pictured here, but I'm actually really happy with the color.The suspenders and the buttons feel like they might break easily, but they're actually quite sturdy, from my experience.If you aren't sure about the size, I would advise ordering a top that's one size larger than you think would fit. I ordered one in the size I thought I was and while it isn't too small for me, it is slightly restrictive. The pants actually fit well.Lastly, this thing can get fairly itchy at times, so wear something with long sleeves under it.

The gorka 4 fits very well on my 5' 10" 156lb frame however you have to do your research and find the conversion tables to find the correct size. The positives of this suit is the quality of material and stitching is exceptional for the price, the pockets on the blouse all have a self sealing seams that prevent items from falling out. The kangaroo pouch can be utilized as a administrative pouch or a dump pouch for magazines. All the canvas is thick, durable and breathable. the elbow pad pockets work great with standard neoprene in the pocket pads. My recommendation is for additional water repellency apply kiwi waterproof spray due to the water repellent currently on the gorka is minimal. As stated before this suit is best for winter, fall and cold weather due to the type of materials used. I highly recommend it due to hunting appeal with similar materials will cost 2x the cost of this suit.

BARS Gorka-4 is well made, authentic, uses decent materials, and it is water resistant. You can spray it down with some DWR to improve the performance.The "4" pattern itself could use improvements. It's restrictive in the sleeves, could use bellows like the U.S. ACU so you can stretch out both arms and not have it ride up or some other solution. Crotch is not gussetted, drops too low and binds movement squatting or kneeling. I wish all buttons were Canadian style slot buttons. Wind resistance depends on which way the wind is blowing from. Anything with two layers of fabric resists the wind. Single layer of fabric breathes. It's a compromise but not a bad one. There are internal elbow pad provisions but not for knee pads?? Pockets are good design, resist snagging from the front when walking through underbrush, colors are a good choice and fit with a range of season and environments. I like the Russian sensibility of it overall.Competitive options on a practical level: Surplus British smocks, surplus ECWCS level V. Easier to move in, superior materials, comprable price.

I find this set to mate well.The pockets are on the small side.I went for the anorak version because I like pockets where the can be reached driving.I was wondering if the lose fitting set would snag getting on and off a compact tractor. All good there.I do not trust the pants front hand pockets to keep things like keys or a small knife.Lounging on a lazy boy things , including change fall out.The suspender system works very well.The hood is better than average. I think it will break in for the better.I did find that even in gentle rain this unit did no more than filter water. It wetted through in a few minutes. No good for that.I went for the officer's belt which is very nice. Of note by that by over all length, not belt size.Very disappointed in the water resistance, I sprung for a big can of heavy duty water proof spray and used the whole can. Once sprayed I stuffed it in a plastic bag for two days. Mist and cold snow bead up now, but kneeling on wet ground, or sitting on a wet seat expect to be wet through.Overall I like it, but probably should have gone one size bigger for layering and hope the pockets get proportionally bigger too.

Bought this mainly for the jacket and it did not disappoint. Very well constructed of a cotton type fabric with ripstop reinforcement. The jacket is an olive drab color and the reinforced areas are a grayish brown color. Has a heavy feel to it. Not supposed to be water proof but seems to be a good shell for heat retention/windbreaker. Has a military feel to it without any camouflage. Could easily pass for a hiking jacket. Took a little while to get the sizing figured out but that is what the internet is for. The only draw back is that it seems if you order an extra large jacket you get extra large pants. Must be a Russian military thing. The pants fit in the waist but the backside is huge. Does not fit me very well, although they would serve well as overpants. I will probably buy a smaller pair of pants to go with the jacket. The seller states it up front but be aware it may take a month to get your order, it is coming from Russia. One of the best features is the kangaroo pocket in the front. Not real big but a good place to quickly access a cell phone or small concealed pistol.

I love this gorka, I wanted a gorka 3, but I couldn't find one that would ship within a week. Everything about this suit is top notch. It is not unbearable to wear in the summer heat, it is super sturdy, it has loads of pockets.The only thing I was not pleased with was that I was expecting this to have a tick trap in the ankles. I do a lot of work in the woods, and I go hiking and camping in the deep woods frequently, so I was really looking forward to having the extra material that straps under your foot, but this just has a strap, and no tick trap. I got mine two days after, so if you need a gorka now get this one, if you can wait, there are better deals on ebay, and there are more modern and advanced gorka suits on amazon.

Der Gorka-4 Anzug wurde sehr schnell geliefert aus Sankt-Petersburg, ich bin auch Qualitstiv echt sehr Positiv überrascht gewesen.Alles ist sehr sauber vernäht, keine krummen oder heißen Nähte.Das Material selbst macht auch einen echt brauchbaren und langlebigen Eindruck.Vor allem das es den Anzug auch in kleineren Kombinationen wie 46-3 gibt finde ich super.Als zusätzliches kleines extra wurde ein Pin der Olympiade aus Moskau von 1980 dazu gepackt.Alles in allem hat sich der Preis dafür echt gelohnt und ich würde ihn nochmal kaufen.

It's a gorka, what else do i need to say. I wear the jacket almost every day. Ive waxed the jacket using Fjallraven wax and it really helps keep it water proof.

Amazing quality. Size I matched with is accurate.A uniform made with this type of material and quality of build in north American would cost you upwards of $500 - 600

Larping through the exclusion zone is now a possibility with Gorka 4 Bars suit. Material feels like it'll last years. Extremely comfortable. Perfect fit at 48-5 for 175 cm at 180 lb (34x30 NA). Colour is slightly towards olive hue. Not extremely warm, good fall/spring outer layer. No waterproofing but thick high quality, heavy fabric. No surplus "smell."10/10
