Though kids will enjoy the bright whizz-bang action sequences of Chicken Little, discerning parents will find the movie tedious. Technically, it has the computer animation quality of Pixar--but with none of their intelligence, heart, or simple storytelling skill. The basic idea of connecting the fable to aliens is amusing, but the script routinely bogs down in clumsy father-son issues that seem like material edited out of Finding Nemo. The jokes rarely have anything to do with the characters, but are mostly pop-culture references that are sadly out of date. The action sequences were obviously created with the inevitable video game in mind, for which the movie is little more than an advertisement. Chicken Little falls flat. --Bret Fetzer

Chicken Little
Chicken Little really does pull at your heart-strings. For the first 20mins I felt so sorry for that little guy, but at the same time loved the friendship between Little & his dad.Then 20mins into the film he does something so big that it can do nothing but bring a massive smile to your face, I think we needed the first 20mins to make us connect to Little for this to work.As for the 2nd half of the film, have to be honest, I wasn't right keen on the alien stuff, but as that didn't really last that long it didn't take anything away from my enjoyment of the movie. There is also some very funny parts that will make you laugh out loud.Oh and the soundtrack is really good too, a nice mix of songs so yep, all in all we loved Chicken Little & will be watching it again soon I'm sure!

Did the sky fall? Or is Chicken Little just paranoid. I wasn't a great fan of this when it first came out but I have grown fonder of it over the years.

Very happy that I got the sleeve version!
It’s always hit and miss getting Disney classics with the sleeves but I got one and I’m so happy! I have a Disney classics shelf and I’m trying to get them all with the shiny sleeves. +1 to the shelf! :)

Great for little ones!!
We've had this for a while now and finally managed to get our two girls to watch this instead of Toy Story or one of their other favourites. Chicken Little is now the new favourite in our house! My girls are 2.5 and 5 and they both love it. It has a great soundtrack, plenty of laughs and a reasonable story so can't really ask for much more- it's everything you would expect of a Disney movie.

She found it hilarious and has watched it every day for a week (not sure that's such a good thing though
my 5 year old daughter is just getting into movies so thought I'd treat her to this as I remember my younger siblings watching it all the time when they were younger. It was a big hit! Love the shiny case, makes it look much nicer especially if being given as a gift.

Boys new favourite
This is an OK Disney film, it's not one of the greats but once my little boy watched it he's addicted - it's his new favourite movie!

this is a hoot
I actually bought this to replace a scratched copy i have. Because my little granddaughter loves it I bought two. One for me to keep in my car and one for her Easter basket. Delivery was fast and price was good.
