Beautiful tea pot that will adorn your kitchen. You can keep it on your stove top to keep your tea warm. I love it!

I was looking for a relatively undestructable teapot that was about a quart and a half. This one seemed to fit the bill. Using it for the first time, I wasn't disappointed, except for one missing element. The tea strainer, which is very nicely done with very fine micro-perfs, has no handle. This means that you can not remove your steeped leaves easily. This is somewhat mitigated in that if you pour about half the pot, the strainer will be out of the remaining tea and will not further steep. Still not ideal for me. I will be getting some stainless wire and a very tiny drill bit and make my own handle.I have fairly large hands and couldn't quite put my hand in the pot for cleaning (without there being a question of whether I could get my hand back out). Not a deal killer for me.The description mentions that the top finial is not metal. This was pretty well done in that you have to look very hard to convince yourself it's not the same stainless as the rest of the pot. Don't know how it will age, but when new, the plastic piece looks like it belongs.And finally, this is a tea pot and not a tea kettle. Tea pots don't whistle but some kettles do.

Love this little teapot. Got it because it fits nicely under the keurig, use it all the time.

Love this, keeps the heat in really well.The only issue I had at the beginning was the strainer not having a lip to lift it out, I now just put a fork or straw in the middle and push to one side and it lifts out easily, better then using my fingers and burning myself at the start!
