I have a small gym set up in my house and only have one 2 inch bar. I also like to alternate the exercises. So, I will be doing bench presses and shrugs 3 series each and each time I'll have to swap the plates to vary the weight. I had the stone age collars, that you slide on and tighten with a screw. One of the screws had damaged thread (dropped plate on it) and needed to be hammered to lock each time. It was a pain . These snap clips are a God send to me. Quick, super easy and effective they make the daily workout so much more enjoyable. This is my second pair for "just in case" as now I cannot live without them.

Not sure it performs as advertised? When the weights are secured if the bar is stood up and any weight put on the weights they slide right down the bar. When advertised on Shark tank the gentlemen locked on weights and then stood on them with no movement. So not happy about this or could use some advice as to why this would happen? Thanks

Doesn’t work on ribbed bars. Only if the bar is smooth ...will it grip. False advertisement.

Don’t believe what you see on TV. Watched the shark tank episode where the kid put a plate on the bar and stood the bar up and stood on the weight without it moving. What a joke. Not a good grip at all if your doing Crossfit. They might work good on a smith machine. I do not recommend this product.

Nice clamp but a little too expensive. The packaging may add to the cost.

I was a little hesitant when my wife said I should get these. But I have put these through multiple crossfit workouts. I have also dropped the bar at weird angles to see if they withstand the workouts....... They do. We had a snatch workout and they worked perfectly for it. We also had a workout to change weights during it and they were really quick to get off and switch out the weights.Great product.

These things are great, but they DO not wotk on standard bars an dumb bells. Theses are great i dont have to take my gym bag. I can throw em in my pocket. J2
