I felt like this story was more of a fantasy than anything else....
I loved the concept so I grabbed it as it's free. Plus, Sophia Jones writing has kinda gotten me into the short erotics out there haha. Also, who wouldn't want to see it from another point of view, from a different type than the usual stick. Like I said the concept sounded great and it was a bit different for me.But when I started to read this I saw that I wasn't going to be a big fan. At first it was just strange (at least to me cause I haven't really been out there so none of these situations has happened to me). So what I mean is, the main gal bumps into a hottie but then moves on and sits herself at a booth. Then so call hottie asks to sit down at the same booth. They say maybe a couple words to each other and he is already trying to make her blush, squirm in her seat as he gives her a knowing smirk. Like he already knows that he gots her wrapped around her finger. Does this really happen? Like I get the lust but in the end the author makes it more than that. But I the reader didn't see it more than that. I just saw it as a one night stand. Maybe that's why I didn't fall head over heels is because I didn't see it like the way the author saw it.After they talk a few sentences she leaves and goes to her car. When she's backing out of her parking space he shows up surprisingly and pulls open her door. Um, stranger danger anyone? Or does that turn you on. Like seriously that would show me he's a creep and I don't even care if this hottie wants to give me his number. Then a week later they find themselves together. I really didn't like the main gals attitude. She just thinks badly of herself and sees guys only wanting to get in her pants cause they think she's easy cause of her weight size. Like are you for real too? Some guys are douches but maybe its sorta your attitude which is why they think you're easy. And then when the hottie finds her taking her break she just thinks he wants a hand job and nothing else. So she gives him a nice steamy one. But I hate that's what she just assumes that's what he's after. Maybe it's not the guys that are the problem and it's actually you that has a problem and why only douches come your way cause you never give the good guys a chance. The hottie wants to show her that that's not all he wants. But again to me I just see sex as the story and not an actually story line. So how this is a series is beyond me. There's not enough depth in these characters for a series. It really is just all about the sex. And about the sex. It was hot and a great way to make one blush but I didn't get how the guy wanted to make it all about her. It was a need of his to make sure she had pleasure and came many times for him but I don't see how that went with the story. For a guy to want that for a girl he needs a real intimate connection with her and I didn't see that between these two. I really didn't which is why I felt like this story was more of a fantasy than anything else.So overall if you just want an erotic for its hot, steamy sex then this short read is for you. But if you want more depth and a real connection between two characters then look somewhere else. Am I going to continue this series? *shrugs* Maybe if the sequel is free but like I said, I don't really see much of a story here and I can't believe there is a series. I mean the ending was completely unbelievable in my eyes. Like I said I've never been in situations like this so maybe it has happened to some people but I honestly can't see it.Oh and another note, the guy can sometimes come off harsh. Not by words but by touch. He did squeeze the girls arm a couple times too hard and it was whenever she talked badly about herself. So when he got passionate to tell her she was wrong his grip would get too tight on her. So either he was a guy that was on the chubby side then got himself into shape which is why he gets a bit aggressive when he's trying to tell her she's beautiful cause he's been on that side of the world. Or again he's just a creep and is really a douche with a nice guys exterior. Again the story just didn't feel right to me.

Big Girls Do It Better (Book One)
This is the first book I have read of: "(The Big Girls series)" and yes some parts of the story are unbelievable. Yes he was a macho guy built to the max and she was considered "Fat". But, I am going to comment on the concept of men being attracted to heavier women. One is they are all human and have feelings. Sometimes their weight is genetic or they are just compulsive eaters. But they are basically happy people. I have been with several heavy women and they were good in bed but getting the right position for me was tricky. Granted I am not any where near being built like Chase! Heavy women can be erotic sexually and it is nice for Jasinda to bring out the qualities that heavy women have in the: "Erotic Zone". Now onto the book. I thought the woman was dressed in some very provacative clothes and that would and should make her feel a little inferior compared to other women. She is not skinny and the skinny built ones are the ones that built men prefer, supposedly. I read a lot of Navy Seal books and the men always talk about the hot babes with perfect legs and ass. But there is always one that likes the: "Curvy Babes" with a little more meat on them. And they are the ones that they end of marrying because they are less likely to fool around on their man! Yes this was a short story but it was not meant to be a novel! It introduces you to the concept of men like Chase being: "Hulk" like attracted to heavier women. Jasinda makes the sex great like all of her other books. But, I do agree on the concept of being tied up on the first date. Not recommended! It is a great twist but don't do it on the first date. But, to make the story interesting, Jasinda threw that in there because that turns a lot of men and women on. And remember, these books are all: "Fantasy" so don't take the bondage to heart. It is just fun play to add spice to the book. I will probably read more of these books because Jasinda makes them "Juicy" and erotic!

Short
I gave it 4 stars because it could have been so much better & longer too. I'd read the next one either way.

a trips down imagination road review
Anna Devine knows that she's not the skinniest girl around, and she knows that men sometimes think she's easy because of it. Then Chase comes onto the scene, handsome and talented Anna doesn't think that he could possibly want a girl like her. But Chase is determined to prove to her that he does, and they Anna starts to crack, letting him show her what she's really worth.Link to GoodreadsLink to amazonOr I guess that's kind of the idea anyway...personally not sure I got it. This book's been sitting on my kindle for a while because I thought the concept was refreshing when I read the blurb, then Michelle at Because Reading is Better Than Real Life gave it a bad review. Talking to her she said I should read it to see if she'd missed anything, like the something that made this book amazing. She didn't.At the start of the book I thought the concept was good, and actually while the book started I thought I saw potential for the main character to gain some self confidence and not just because of a man. But the thing was she never really learnt that, instead it was more she got a multiple orgasm and suddenly she was amazing. No growth in confidence, just a switch, and I really didn't buy it.There was also the 'relationship' between Chase and Anna, and I say 'relationship' because it wasn't one at all. Rather it was two characters meeting, and a week later were having amazing sex and thinking that they could love each other. But they had only seen each other once in that week...I'm not buying it. On top of that I really didn't buy into the emotions from the two of them at all. Every time they were together they'd been drinking and hadn't really got to know each other at all. There was no way I would buy into the sex being more than sex.Parking the lack of character development, and the lack of relationship for a second. This book is classed as erotica, which I have no problem with. Except that the sex was one of the dullest sex scenes I've read in any book, there wasn't actually any excitement to it, instead it was flat and boring.I actually genuinely think that Big Girls Do It Better is sending out the wrong message. It isn't telling larger women to love themselves no matter what (because they should) instead it seems to be telling them that its ok to just wait around because some guy will come along and suddenly it will be ok. No it won't be, life doesn't work like that.I'm sorry to say that I didn't like this book, I don't normally write negative reviews, but in this case I feel I have to. Maybe the series gets better, I don't know, but what I do know is that I won't be reading the rest of them.

Don't waste your time
I bought this as I was missing the whole '50 shades' type book, and thought maybe this book would be something I could relate to being a 'bigger girl'. Well lets just say, it was a load of c**p.... big girl meets hot man, hot man randomly really fancies big girl, they have sex, she can't believe it and has all the typical hang ups of a big girl...... but there was no substance to the story, it was just your usual sex story with a few insecurities thrown in to make it seem like they were looking at it from another angle. Plus it was only a short story and only took 15 minutes to read. Word of advice, don't waste your time!!! Not sure where all the good reviews have come from, although I suppose lots of people will big up any sort of erotic fiction as it is 'cool' to read it these days!!! 15 minutes of my life that I cannot get back!!!!!

A big curvy woman can also be a sex goddess
This book grew on me, in a way I did not expect. It is so wonderful and liberating to feel that big girls are also wanted and desired by gorgeous men, sometimes even more so. This book may be fiction, but it is true that in real life big girls can also be really sexy and mind blowing sex is no less than they, or any other woman deserves. The author has done a thorough job with the description of sex between Anna and Chase and conveying the above message to women who may feel insecure, after all what woman doesn't? I enjoyed reading this book, shame it was so short though.

Terrible - just dont go there
I feel compelled to review on the grounds of how bad this truly was. I'm glad this was free and I didn't waste even as much as 50p on it. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Very badly written - in fact I could probably write it better and I only studied English to GCSE standard. There's no story there really - to summarise girl meets random stranger, girl gives random stranger head and then girl and random stranger have sex. The end. At least with 50 Shades there was a background story running through it. It's only got one star on the basis that I couldn't proceed with the review without rating it.

A great little story
Delightful little adult fairy tale, with a nice "what will she do" ending. The descriptions of the sex are raunchy and fun. The main character (the narrator) comes across nicely, the romantic interest character is a bit thinly drawn, but that's fine for a fairly short story. A great idea, nicely written. And if it helps women who aren't as skinny as fashion models feel positive about themselves, good. Most women aren't, after all. Why shouldn't people with realistic, everyday figures be made into positive, strong characters in stories?
