These boxes are easy to fold into shape and are very strong and sturdy so they stack well when loaded. They are quite deep and hold a good amount, so when filled with books I found them quite heavy to carry (though easy for removal men), but they are strong enough to take the weight especially when taped, and the handle holes don't tear. Alternatively for easier carrying you can fill them half or two thirds full of heavy things and put lighter weight things or bubble in the top, and the double sides of the boxes are still strong enough to take the weight of stacking them four or more boxes high.They are much stronger than the more common single skin archive boxes, which are inclined to crumple or tear unless filled level with solid contents. They can be folded out and flattened for storage ready to be re-used and are durable enough to last a long time, so worth the higher price.

I have just moved house and ordered two lots of these boxes to pack my books as the description indicated that the boxes had double-thickness walls, which is necessary when packing books. The first two boxes of boxes were great. Small enough to take a reasonable quantity of books without overloading. Then I ordered some more.The second lot were disappointing. The double wall construction had disappeared, with only the box ends and base being double, reducing the strength of the boxes, meaning they were no longer suitable for the purpose for which I bought them. I was still able to use them, but they were nowhere near as strong as the first lot. The rating of 3 represents five for the original boxes, and 0 for the second lot. Be careful if purchasing these as it appears 5 Star have reduced the quality while maintaining the cost.

A quality sturdy box, my only concern is the lid which is not brilliant if you are stacking boxes.

I am in the process of moving and had a few old archive boxes in need of replacing. Having tried these I must say that they are extremely well designed, easy to assemble via a tab lock system with double walls incorporated. Will happily take a shelf of books (although an experienced packer would probably mix contents in order to save their backs!) so up for the weightiest challenges.A tad expensive but I cannot fault the quality and would rather have these than the old ones I used to own that have only lasted a few moves. Definitely a keeper!

Sturdy box, very easy to assemble and useful. Would be 5 star if the lid were made from the same quality cardboard as the box. Unfortunately, the lid is about half the thickness (and strength) of the box. Still useful though, if you are not planning to stack them with heavy contents or put anything on top which could cause the lid to break/dent etc.

These boxes are great quality, strong and easy take lots of magazines or heavy paper. They are a little on the pricey side, but I knew that when I bought them and they do the job

For a cardboard box sturdy, it is surprising how much weight this can take. Loaded to the top with books it is quite heavy to lift but seems to take the weight ok, both by holding the box at the handles or underneath. They stack well (though obviously putting a heavy box on top of an empty one is not going to be very intelligent).
