Best in its range
Experienced a Move in a holiday home and was so blown away, had to purchase one when I came back. The best way to describe this speaker is it's a brilliant speaker for moving around in the house from room to room, trueplay does a great job of tuning the sound for each room's acoustics and the battery life has never disappointed. My favourite feature is that the battery is user replaceable, so in the future, when the battery does eventually cake out, it won't be too hard to install a new one and keep the speaker running for longer.I had no issues with WiFi and the S2 app. Multi room audio works great with Sonos devices and AirPlay devices such as integrating with my AirPlay amplifier and Apple TV. Bluetooth also works perfectly fine when using out and about, just wish you could check the battery percentage when connected via Bluetooth. But what really sets this speaker apart is the sound quality. I haven't heard better sound from such as tightly built package before. Place the speaker in a corner of a room, and you'd be mistaken for thinking there was a subwoofer in the room somewhere. And the dual tweeters really help boost clarity of certain tracks. Doing A-B testing between this and the Bose SoundLink Max, I was constantly picking the Sonos with it's more pronounced V shape sound. The bose was no sloutch and both could get equally loud, I just found the Bose losing more details in the sounds at higher volumes, as well as lacking in sub bass. The only time I wouldn't recommend this speaker is if you are constantly moving around, the design is very premium and carrying it around will likely get it dinged up if you are not careful, compared to some of the competitors such as the JBL extreme series. Also the speaker is quite heavy compared to it's competitors, it's perfectly okay to carry to the beach or park but you can notice the extra 1kg compared to the Bose SoundLink Max.Some other things I really like are the built in Alexa, great for shouting at the speaker for the weather, adding stuff to the shopping list or if the doorbell is going off. The volume slider has perfect increments and the sound feedback it plays when adjusting, you'd think there is some apple haptic engine inside. And the ability to add a usbc to 3.5mm adapter is a nice touch just in case I was ever going to use a device that only outputs via aux.£449 is pricy for any speaker, you can get cheaper alternatives but if you want the best of the best, this is my recommendation. Especially if you can get it on sale.

Another great product from Sonos
I nabbed myself a Move 2 as an upgrade for a Bose Revolve+ with the 20% off deal. Great product though the Revolve is, I have found after upgrading the firmware after connecting my phone to it by Bluetooth it's been turning itself off seconds afterwards and the battery holds charge badly, and loses power even when off, it maybe a NICAD battery because it's always done this? The Sonos is therefore a welcome upgrade and shows none of the above bugs. It's prime use for me is when I'm cleaning the car or hitting some DIY in the garage. I have set it up on the Sonos app, which was very easy, but I mostly connect via Bluetooth to it, again a simple process, press and hold the bluetooth button on the rear, fire up bluetooth on your phone, scan and pair.Sound quality is excellent, it's a bit cleaner and clearer than the Revolve+, but it does have a bit of extra size on the Revolve+. The only thing I would consider adding is a rope carry handle like the Revolve+, but it is easy to move around with the indent in the back of the case for doing so.I like the charging base for the Move 2, I'm making use of it as I type, but it also has a regular USB C connector for charging as well, so it's not necessary to carry that base with you if you go away, a USB A - USB C lead / charger would surffice.I will admit I'm a big fan of Sonos products, they're all over the house here. Whilst I love Bose products, for me Sonos have the edge. I know lots of people hate the Sonos app, but I've got on OK with it, but I will confess that I most commonly use it to firmware update my products, for some reason auto update doesn't appear to work, even though enabled for all products. The Move 2, looks fine, and would subtely grace any home, even if left out all the time mounted in it's charging base. The cable back to the three pin plug charger is suitably long for most folks, but some may need a USB C female to male extender, readily available on Amazon.Great work Sonos!

Great when connected
Is a great addition to the Sonos range, but it does struggle sometimes with the app and staying on the network for it to work correctly.Sounds great, love the addition, just wish more money was invested in their app. Use for Bluetooth more than through the app

Quality speaker
Easily installed/connected wireless speaker. Robust and well-built. Works well linked to a Brennan B3 unit.

Basic app functions missing
Check out the Sonos community, wish I had, as basic functions in new app update that previous reviews are based on are missing.Potentially great speaker, awful app.No fix to these issues until October at the earliest.Playlist issues , all sorts of problems. And just awful new interface. The idiot app makes you tap a radio station in favourites which brings up a screen where you have to tap the exact same strain again. What idiot designed in 2 taps where 1 would do?Don't invest in Sonos!

SONOS is Gold
Well, what can I say, it's just a very good device. But he is so good that he can't sleep at night, he wants to listen to everything again and get excited.Just keep in mind that the quality of the signal you give, the louder it will sound. This little beauty works wonders, you just need a quality signal.100% recommend

Love this speaker
I have never used Sonos before, always been a Bose man. But my old Bose portable speaker is getting on a bit and was looking for a replacement, ideally with Wifi as well as bluetooth, so decided to try the Sonos Move 2.So glad I did, it sounds great. OK it is pricey, but the Bose Revolve is £300 and is not as well made IMHO. I did go to PC World and have a play with both before deciding on the Sonos. The app works very well, streaming works flawlessy as does the bluetooth. Setup was very easy. The battery is brilliant, had about 20hrs so far from the initial charge, thoroughly recommend****
