Ferrum Gravis

Very interesting melodic/traditional heavy metal opus! Interesting because while it features the "typical" in terms of vocals and instrumentation, the arrangements aren't necessarily what one would expect. This is not some mindless run-of-the-mill double-bass metal "attack". There is a lot more sophistication. Truly enjoyable and it gets better with repeat listening. It does not hurt that the lyrics are also a little more thought-provoking that what might be implied by the cover and music style....

What a great album this is it's their 2rd album has Viron but have changed their name from Seduction theyrecorded two demo's under that name and have since recorded under the name Roxxcalibur a tribute bandnwobhm covers 3 albums which have sold very well indeed their 1st Viron album was nwoghm the G beingGerman. Anyway getting back to Ferrum Gravis 9 tracks of outstanding metal any metal fan would like this bandbut if you fancy getting it you can get both albums on The complete worxx 2 cd plus you get tracks off their E.P.My fav track being track 4 War

Ferrum Gravis?Das sagte mir garnichts.Ich bin durch Metal for Muthas von Roxxalibur auf diese Band gestoßen, da mehrere Mitglieder in beiden Bands spielen.Also hab ich mir alles mögliche im Netz durchgelesen und dachte-DIE MUSS ICH HABEN!Aber.... ich muß leider sagen-ich habe mich in die Irre leiten lassen.Gut natürlich ist alles Geschmacksache.Doch ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, holt euch lieber BEIDE Roxxcalibur CD`s.Bei Ferrun Gravis blieb, bei mir zumindest, nichts im Ohr hängen.Bei Roxx aber fast jeder Song.Als "Coverband" sind die Jungens SUPER!Aber sobald es an`s selber schreiben geht, fehlt doch einiges.Schade!
