They were easy to unpack and hang, also to their credit they are nice to the touch and not stiff. HOWEVER, maybe I am under the wrong impression of how black out curtains work but there is a large amount of light coming through the center whether my blinds are open or closed behind them (see photos) I was going for total blackout so I could get better sleep and this is really disappointing to find out now that I have unpackaged and hung them. If this is normal I have a HUGE problem with them being labled blackout curtains as it's very misleading and I'll be taking action on this. I would steer of this product if you wanted total darkness.

Great thick curtains. Block out most lights even in bright day time. Also keeps the room much warmer. My window is actually 85ft wife by 44 width longer. I have such a hard time finding blinds and the large window faces the front yard where passerby can see everything inside. I thought I have to trim since it’s 110in total width or 55in each panel. Works perfectly and gives the room privacy.

Perfect for my 120” window! Length is true to description, once material is relaxed. 82 1/2” is perfect height of the curtain rod, since there is about 1 1/2” of material above grommets. Extremely pleased.

These curtains are beautiful for blackout curtains. The white gray color was perfect. I'd say they are 85% blackout but that is perfect for us; just needed for the bright sunlight during day. I believe the dark colors would be almost total blackout. The material is very soft and silky, draping well (no stiff backing to deal with). Easy to steam iron to remove wrinkles. I'm very pleased with these curtains.

I have sliding glass doors that needed blackout curtains. I was SUPER NERVOUS buying blackout curtains that would be the only thing hanging to block the sun because normally I have window blinds up and curtains over the blinds in the rest of my place for the regular windows and even then it's difficult finding a decent curtain that will block out about 85-90% of light let alone blackout with no blinds. I'm very happy to say these curtains do what they say! These are 100% blackout curtains and the material is lovely. Very nice quality. I'm very pleased. I will update with a photo when I get a chance so you can see how great they are. It took me a long time to find these because almost every time I thought I had found *Thee* curtain lol I would look at the photos and see that it was with window blinds behind the curtain which absolutely makes a huge difference in sun blocking efficiency. Look no further, buy these!!

I live in the Midwest and next week we're projected to go to -14 F. I have large windows leading to a balcony. I was hesitant to believe how much cold curtains could block out, but surprisingly it's a lot! I'm inclined to believe that I may even be saving a few bucks on my electric bill.Pros- Good weight to the curtains, but not heavy.- Color is as shown in photos.- Easy assembly.- Can help block out cold winds coming in through windows.- Does what curtains are supposed to do: block out sunlight and peeping eyes.Cons- Nothing I can think of!

I bought this set of Black Out Curtains to help me block out sunlight and heat. I put them in my room so I ordered the 110" x 63" set in beige. I have been using them for around a week and they work perfectly; I work most of the night so I always sleep during the day, and the curtains have improved my sleep quality. They block a lot of light and keep my room fresher than before. also read that they work keeping out not only heat but also cold, so they are perfect for all year round. The fabric is sturdy but soft, the color is close to the one in the pics and the set is easy to assembly. They are way better than regular drapes, so I recommend them. Plus: if you suffer from migraine they will help you a lot.

I got these as a spare for a guest bedroom currently under construction. I bought them in black so as to improve their black out power, but after opening the package and testing them against the morning sun, I realized I could have gotten any color I wanted. The fabric is thick enough that I can safely assume it would have worked fine in any other color.The grommets are evenly spaced and have a good look and feel to them - sturdy and durable. Fabric looks good too, and is thick and heavy. The black really is black and not just a dark gray. It came a bit wrinkly from the package, but nothing a steamer can't solve.A good product if you're looking to keep a room dark.

I love these curtains so much I ordered another set! Great price, very easy to set up, and complete black out (in my opinion). They are soft to the touch and hang beautifully. See pictures. This is ONE SET and I have fairly wide windows. A second set would make a fuller look, but this suits my needs perfectly. Now my partner can sleep in past sunrise and I can go to bed before the summer sun sets (we face West). They will also help keep the heat out on the hottest days.

As may others have said these are not blackout curtains. I put them up at night with only far off dim lights and I could clearly see the window frame though the curtain. In the morning when the sun came up you can practically see though the curtain, they let in 90% of the light. They do not blackout and they do not darken at all.In the picture, the curtain on the left is the NIM blackout drape. The curtain on the right is the AmazonBasics blackout drape. The picture speaks for itself.These curtains also have a horrible chemical smell which has not gone away and has filled the entire condo. They are supposedly 100% polyester so where is the smell coming from? I think it is from a toxic glue they use to bond the layers together.

These are perfect. I got 2 pairs of the white grey colour and they go great with my living room. On a cloudy day they are SUPER dark, and on a sunny day they are still very dark. Two photos to show a sunny day vs. a cloudy day.

Before purchasing I was honestly skeptical about this "blackout" claim... Happy to admit I was wrong to doubt. I used this in front of a big balcony/patio door and it basically makes the room dark enough for a home theater setup (on a super sunny day). The only light that bleeds in is from the bottom because I measured incorrectly and installed it a bit too high. It's not a bit deal for me so I didn't bother to fix it.Also I'm pleasantly surprised to find that the fabric is actually very soft. I was expecting a cheap "plastic" kind of texture but this material feels like high quality and looks amazing! I'll definitely buy again if I need to do another window.

I like almost everything about these curtains, except for the defective length.And oh yes, except for the fact that they arrived the day after I ordered them - in the middle of the pandemic. I’m not at all sure why Mr. Bezos thinks these are so essential that they have to put their employees’ lives on the line to ship them to me in under 24 hours. I DO NOT thank Amazon for putting living, breathing human beings at risk, just to send me non-essential window coverings.Anyhow, back to the curtains: the curtains I received are true to photo colour, and made with a decent poly material - quite heavy, but still soft and drapey. They draped quite well out of the package, and would likely be very good after a light pressing or steaming. They’re decent light-blockers, from both inside and outside - or they would be, if they actually covered the window > > >The stupid things are FOUR inches short. Four inches is a lot, even (especially) on an 84” curtain. I put up one, and it dangles four inches above the floor. It looks absolutely ridiculous, no matter the lighting conditions. One inch off I could have forgiven pretty easily in a factory/mass-produced curtain, two would have me grinding my teeth every time I looked at the window - but FOUR? They float absurdly above the sheers behind them. The product description is waaaaay off. These should be advertised as 80” L curtains. There’s not even a hem to let down, to increase the length to the standard and advertised, 84”.I suggest that if you want to order these curtains, purchase a length longer than the standard that fits your windows, and prepare to do some hemming, or let whatever excess there is, pool on the floor.To give them credit, the seller provided me with a full and very fast refund, along with a note about their producers’ excellent standards of quality, oh yes indeed. I really appreciate the refund, hence the three star rating. You might really like these curtains if you like a soft green - I would have been pretty happy with them, if the manufacturer had exercised a whit of quality control and they’d been the proper length.

I was surprised at how well these curtains performed. Usually at this price point you expect good darkening but not complete black-out. I'd expect this degree of black-out from something 4-5x the price.The only way to get a more complete black-out is to attach the curtains around the window frame (like they do far north) with velcro, press-studs etc. Your biggest enemy now is light escaping *around* the curtain (which is no fault of the curtain itself, but gives a great 'eclipse' effect)Believe me, with how much these blackout the midday sun, it's creepy seeing the faint light rays spilling into the room from underneath and around the curtains.After doing a quick bit of research, turns out the NIM brand has a lot of good press. (I knew nothing of them before this purchase)They feel and look great too. Very happy with my purchase.

These feel very good quality. The curtains have really helped with the glare on our tv in the living room. We never used to be able to use the tv in the daytime, as the tv we have is basically a giant mirror. This curtain is amazing for blocking out sunlight. I don't see any light coming in through the fabric whatsoever. The only light that comes in is on the sides of the curtain that isn't up against the wall. Only problem I have with it is the wrinkles, but that's mainly my fault, as I'm too lazy to figure out how to remove them.

I don't often go out of my way to endorse any company or seller but in this case it is warranted. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the NIM brand and its employees and I continue to purchase their blackout drapes. I have recommend them to everybody I know and will continue to do so. The quality of the blackout drape is far superior to any other brand we have purchased. It would be great to see them add some new colours in future but this is officially now my go-to brand. Thanks folks!

These drapes are beyond my expectations! Super soft, well sewed, and really well insulated against the cold (and now heat!). There is simply no light that will go through - and they are hanging in front of a large patio door that receives a lot of sunlight. We used to freeze in the winter next to that window... no more! We just love these!!!

Could not believe my old eyes! Before lunch time, this package arrived before the announced date, in perfect condition, lovely packaging of the inner contents, into a slightly bigger Amazon box, with the Carrier who did well. The NIM Curtains are really beautiful. Now that I see them, I am really glad that I bought two (2) pairs. Now I can do two windows. (smile) Excellent quality. I'd buy them again. And recommend them. My housemates and I love these new curtains! The colour is pretty and brightens the room, and they truly are thermal. I was dubious when I first opened them as although soft they feel very thin, but they do make a noticeable difference in heat retention. The draft from our sliding door is gone! our window is 100 x 84 in and I originally purchased these in the 120 in total width. They fit a bit small, so I exchanged them for the 140 total width and it is perfect! So, I recommend sizing up one to make sure there is enough excess for some ruffles. Overall I am pleased with this purchase and would purchase these again for another window in the future.

I really liked the look of these curtains! The colour looked great in the room. My issue was the length, none of the curtains were the advertised length. I probably could have lived with this to be honest, but they were not even the same wrong length and it was very noticeable when you hung them up. I had to return them, which is to bad because as I said they looked really good in the room

I am very happy with my curtains. They are classy and a good size. I did however believe they were going to be a lot longer but they turned out great. Its probably my much to be desired math skills that went wrong there. But there is a full return policy if you are not happy. They block out the light, they are wide enough to cover my balcony windows and still have folds in them when closed. Also the service they used, intellecom or something rather, are AWESOME!! Really, they were working on Sunday and tried to reach me twice, they sent me emails that told me that the delivery person (which included their name) was on their 84th delivery of the day and mine was 109 and I should receive my package within the next 3 hours. VERY IMPRESSIVE. The delivery man was very gentlemanly. If I ever have a business, I will consider them as my courier for sure.

This is the second set I’ve purchased and they’re just as functional as the first ones. Be sure to measure your windows because they Need to over lap the window frame to be truly effective. They are excellent at blocking out almost 100% of sunlight, with the exception of minimal light coming through the side. The only way to turkey block out 100% would be to seal every edge by taping curtains to the wall, which is not realistic.I purchased these curtain to replace a set I bought from a box box store at double the price. The quality of these curtains surprised the big box store brand in every way.I highly recommend these if you are looking to block out light whether to cool a room or just avoid glare on your tv. At this price, you really can’t go wrong.

I was hoping the lighter colors would work just as well as the darker ones, but atlas, i was wrong. i bought two colors as I could not decide which one I wanted; the white and the dark grey. unfortunately the white one lets in more noticeable amount of light than the grey one. however it still blocks out light better than a regular curtain.it is very soft and velvety and the grommets are well made and hold up well. i've had my curtains for a few months now and have no problems. they look and feel so much more expensive than they are!
