This cable was to connect a DVD player to a wall-mounted TV. A 10 meter cable from another source would not work with this setup, although it did work with a different TV. I have read that HDMI cables should meet tight specs and some cheaper ones might not. Also, the max permitted length has restrictions.This cable looks and feels like a quality product and does indeed work properly, though it is only 4 meters long. Very fast and efficient delivery to a nearby Amazon locker.

the cable works so I'm happy the actual quality of build is not great though but as its cheap as long as it keeps working I'm happy but just something to bare in mind.

Good quality cable. I also purchased a spliter so I could have my saved recordings on a second TV without having an additional Virgin box. It did exactly what I wanted and with very good picture and sound quality. From one end of the house to the other. Definitely value for money.

I bought this item at 28 of October, after couple of months for some reason my Sony AVR video output stopped displaying the screen and I thought that the HDMI cable had some issues, I feel so embarrassed, without confirming that what is the real problem I left negative review about my HDMI cable!I’m so sorry! My apologies!After factory default settings I have fixed the issueIt was my Sony AVR issue and the hdmi cable was working perfectly! I have connected the cable again and everything is fine now.I’m amazed that after I left negative review, the seller has contacted me and offered me a refund or replacement cable as the product was in warrantyI’m so happy with my HDMI cable as the picture quality and color are super HD and watching movies on projector’s 300 inch screen is great experience!5 stars for product quality and 7 stars for great customer service!Thank you very much!

I have had other HDMi leads that were much thinner and better suited for my needs. But there is nothing actually wrong with these cables. I guess they are VERY robust! :-)
