WWE: TLC - Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2015 [Blu-ray]

TLC 2015 pretty much sums up the state of Vinnie Macs WWE - much of the in ring action is pretty good, there's a lot of talent on show and everyone's working hard but there's a lack of progression. The top of the card is still being filled with matches which I'm not sure many people actually want to see. Then there's the ridiculous lack of selling - so many guys on this show are getting walloped with so much plunder but it doesn't keep anyone down for very long so none of means a great deal. I guess it's best to try and enjoy it for what it is. This is the card and sole DVD extra (the standard match from the kick off show).New Day v Lucha Dragons v The Usos - Tag Titles - Ladder Match - Excellent start. An electric, energetic, big bumping, innovative spot fest.Rusev v Ryback - Pretty standard big man brawl. The angle behind it is lame to be honest so not much to see here.Alberto Del Rio v Jack Swagger - US Title - Chairs Match - I'm not a fan of the chairs gimmick and poor Jacks character is pretty much a dead duck at this point so I feared the worst. In reality, it turns out to be ok. Not great but ok.Wyatt Family v Rhyno, Tommy Dreamer & The Dudley Boyz - Elimination Tables Match - Yeah there's no tags in this one, it's a free for all in a similar style to the earlier ladder match only not as good. It's a solid piece of work though, even if it's not as strong as the match they'd all knock up on Raw the following night.Kevin Owens v Dean Ambrose - IC Title - No gimmicks in this one but a lot of fun. Two guys who could maybe be the future given half a chance. Good stuff.Paige v Charlotte - Divas Title - This rapidly becomes less of a Divas Title match and more of a Ric Flair tribute night. Has its moments though.Sheamus v Roman Reigns - World Title - TLC Match - A strange main event as much of the live crowd make it clear they don't really want either guy to win. It's a shame but such is life, it's easy to understand why. Both guys enter strong, hard working efforts in what is actually a pretty good match despite a bit of a weak and predictable ending. What happens after the match is about as interesting and entertaining as Reigns has been as a singles star.Becky Lynch v Sasha Banks - Kick Off Match - Solid and competitive without displaying anything particularly memorable. It's the kickoff match after all.

Delivered earlier than expected. Great addition for my sons collection. I love watching the wrestling today as much as when I was a young boy myself. One of the better ppv events.
