Works as Intended
This is a pretty cool accessory I hadn't seen before. There's always concern of our heater tipping over, things happen. But this provides the safety for our heater. Would highly recommend, it does what it's intended for and easy to setup/use

BUY THE STAND FIRST!
Yeah, I put the headline in all caps because I ended up getting this a few weeks after I had put the heater together.Don't get me wrong -- it isn't THAT difficult to install later, but you'll save time and headache if you buy this along with the heater and assemble it all at once.As far as the weight goes, the heater itself isn't prone to tipping, but by adding this with sand, you can leave it out all season and not have to worry about most snowstorms tipping your heater over.It was easy to fill, easy-ish to retrofit (would have been very easy to install initially) and is one of those add-and-forget type of things that's worth the extra money.

Excellent for windy conditions.
I discovered the hard way that my east oak patio heater needed a heavier base. I picked this up to assist with keeping my patio heater upright in high winds. It has lived up to my expectations.

Works great!
We added sand and water as suggested and it’s worked great so far! We get very high winds where we live and having this patio heater sandbox has been a necessity to keep our heater stable and to keep it from falling over.If you have an umbrella style patio heater, I highly recommend giving this a try! It’s truly a must have.

Exact fit!
This is an exact fit for my East Oak patio heater. While the 20lb propane tank does have some weight to it - it's not enough for a strong wind. Plus, when the tank is low, the unit doesn't feel as stable. The weight base is exactly what's needed to keep your heater steady and stable, even during harsh winds. I recommend filling with water, and adding a few drops of bleach to it. This will keep the water from turning slimy. If you do use water, don't forget to drain a bit during the winter so that you don't have a solid block of ice and could potentially crack the base. As for me, my heater will be stored indoors, away form the elements during the coldest times of the year.

This should do the trick!
Last winter our nice relatively new Patio Heater was knocked over by some strong winds. It did survive, but with damages. It hit our brick wall and bent the unit. I have been able to get that straightened, but was thinking is there a way to weight this down without looking ugly.I found this product, filled it with sand and water and now it seems 5x sturdier. Excellent!Easy to setup, you just need to buy some sand.
