Biased, informatively biased, an interesting read for the supporters
This book is neither a biography, nor a political fact book. Author chooses his own narrative and story path to make the book interesting but not really informative in historical sense. Some segment of people may like selective information shared by this author.

A good one
This is one of those rare books which do not just glorify the person on whom its written, but give a balanced approach. Would surely recommend this to all. Its better than other books written on him.

An excellent analysis of our times!
"Modi & India" by @RShivshankar & SiddharthaTalya is an exceptional book. Far from being a hagiography that the title might imply, it is a dispassionate & thoroughly researched analysis of various contemporary issues, their political implications, how they have been dealt with by the Modi government & how they are contributing to India's rise & its place in the world. Some of these crucial issues include the abrogation of Article 370, the CAA, the building of the Ayodhya Ram Temple, etc. each of which is analysed with reference to constitutional provisions & court rulings, emphasising the legislative & judicial routes taken by the government to resolve them. The author also talks about the process of decolonizing history, which has in the past sought to de-hyphenate the Hindu from Indian through a creative & purposeful reinterpretation & judicious selection of truths. The notion of exceptionalism is another major theme that has been discussed, highlighting the majority-minority binary, which has included perpetuating religious separatism at an institutional level & privileging one community over another. In discussing the features of a Hindu Raj, the author underscores inclusivity as a dharmic commitment & guided by the fundamental pillars of sanatan dharma, such a Raj cannot be anything but plural. The fears of Bharat becoming a Hindu Rashtra are dispelled, because Hinduism being inherently secular, tolerant and inclusive can never become a Hindu Pakistan, where minorities are persecuted. It has more in common with a Christian Great Britain. The concept of Dharma, that encompasses duty, virtue, law, ethics, etc. is also discussed at some length, including with reference to the SC observations. The author leaves us with a question: If not a Hindu Rashtra, should the Supreme Court back a Dharmic Rashtra? The indic renaissance has been set in motion. This is an eye-opening #mustread book, preferably before the 2024 parliamentary elections!

It also does not shy away from discussing the disappointments and criticisms faced by the Modi government, including issues related to institutional governance and transparency. The chapter titled "2019: Storming to Victory" is a highlight of the book, offering a detailed account of the BJP-led NDA's historic victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Not worth wasting time on this one sided false propoganda.
Baised. Cheap propoganda. One sided. Dumb. The book is nothing but a propoganda. Facts have all been presented in a one sided manner.
