USB 3.1 Type-C to HDMI VGA Adapter, iMXPW Decora 2 in 1 VGA HDMI 4K UHD Dual Screen Display Adapter Compatible MBP w/Thunderbolt 3 Port - Gray

I have used this adapter for almost a year now and neither the HDMI nor the VGA port has failed me yet. Living in the USB C world is a bit of a pain on the MacBook Pro, but I’m glad this adapter has been dependable. No problems with output quality either.

This is probably good, I couldn't use it because it didnt work with my old computer but I blamed my computer for it.

I have a VGA monitor and a HDMI monitor. So i thought this adapter would be perfect for dual display and having my laptop (dell xps 13) docked. I was wrong. this adapter can only handle one display. While both plugs work, it still only recognizes as one display, so a mirrored look and there is nothing that can be done.

I have been using it for half a year, and it still works hard.As other reviewers have stated, the quality seems to be excellent. It is of metal construction on both ends for the HDMI and USB Type C. The cable seems to be of great quality as well.

Both the HDMI and VGA port work great when connecting my MacBook Pro 2017 to an external monitor or to a TV. Extra bonus: the color and finish of this adapter is the same as that of my MacBook.Update two months later: This adapter has saved me at two conferences when the provided adapters in the room wouldn't work. But this device did! I am very happy with the purchase.Update nine months later: The adapter suddenly stopped working. Had a terrible time at two conferences because of this failure. Reducing from five stars to two stars.

Only one connection can be used either hdmi or vga. Else it will be a duplicate display. Other then this quality looks good so as display quality.

Item arrived on time. Packaging was nice. It’s not too big and works like a charm. The instructions could be more detailed but I was still able to use it with ease. I can mirror my phone to my computer and I can project my computer to my tv with it which is great for watching movies and things on the internet. I would recommend this to anyone who has a need for it. It’s easy to use and pretty great quality.

The product works well. I have used it to stream movies from a laptop to the tv. Kids enjoy watching their movies on the tv instead of computer screen

This item is fantastic! Took it to Europe and it allowed us to watch TV from home with my phone and an HDMI cable. Love it!

Use this every day at work for connecting to external monitor at my workstation. Also bring to meetings for presentations. Had 6 months of use, then it started to falter. 8 months in this is unusable. I am writing this review as im shopping for another adapter.

Unfortunately this product did not work with my MSI Laptop and did not detect the Micro USB C Connection when plugged in. Oh well back to the drawing board.Otherwise great shipping and fast, but did not work with my configuration.

It works as expected. VGA options is blurry though. HDMI is fine.
