We are vegetarians, so we have not tested it with meat. For vegetable waste, it works perfectly. It has completely transformed the way we handle waste. No fuss, no smell, no mess, and straight on the compost or into recycling after dehydration. Worth every penny! This is a revolutionary device, and if every household had one, the volume of food waste would be reduced by up to a factor of 10. It really does the job that well.

It’s not working

This was quite an outlay expense wise but I'm very glad I did it, it's dramatically reduced the amount of rubbish that goes into my general bin for landfill. All my cooking scraps, peelings, coffee grains and tea leaves etc go in and it really does come out looking like pot pourri but odourless. I've added it to compost and it can be used for fuel too. The delivery was very prompt, it turned up a day after I ordered it.

I can only say: Fantastic Amazing!!!!We have been using it for a week and ALL our food waste have been dried and pulverised as nutrient for the vegetable garden!!

Does a great job with food waste.

Excellent product, does exactly what it says. One minor quibble, get the documentation re-written by a technical author whose first language is English.

This is an excellent machine, that has revolutionised the way that I and my family approach food waste. I really wish that there was a payment plan available so more people could access the unique benefits of the Smart Cara machine.

I wasn't sure about ordering this product because it’s really new to the market. I saw it from Ecobuild show and decided to go ahead and made the purchase.Within 3 days I received my new food waste recycling machine and I must say the design looks neat and modern. I’m particularly pleased that it doesn’t need any installation like something under the basin. During the whole process, it’s odourless and very quiet. And my food waste has been reduced to approximately 80% which makes my life so much easier.So far my experience is that the more humidity in the organic waste, the longer duration of the cycle. In general it takes about 3 hours.For all the convenience and benefits, I give this 5 stars. If you are dithering about buying this just buy it…money well spent. Love it!
