Screws?** A: These use adhesive like command strips. **Q: What's the maximum thickness the "hook module" can handle?** A: Don't have it with me, but as I recall the top is about an inch. **Q: Could this work for other small cpap machines, like the z2?** A: The holder is molded to fit the AirMini and it’s a tight fit. I am not familiar with the z2 so I don’t know if it would work or not. I’m going to say it won’t. **Q: How does it work?** A: The bracket attaches to the AirMini. The strap goes between mattress and base frame or box spring. Just put it along the slat or frame bar if there is no box spring. The mini hangs nicely beside the bed where you can reach it. The bonus is that this makes the unit very much quieter since it is alongside the bed away from your head. Also included is a bracket to hang it from a drawer face on a nightstand or cabinet near the bed. I won't travel without this mount system.
