Q: I'm about a size 22 in the biggest pants should I get 3xl or 4? Are these see through? Are they boot cut?

I am returning the pair I bought because they are way too long. I bought a size 4X and they are about 5 inches too long. Just because I am heavy, I am not an Amazon woman! I am usually a size 3X or 24-26W, that's why I ordered 4X just in case. They were not see through and it was definitely a wide boot cut, but again they were at least 5 inches too long. I am 5'4" tall.

Q: What is the inseam on long?

I've washed them twice to try to shrink them a bit, so I can't measure at this point - but the long is way too long for me and I am 5'7 and plus size. The average length is not quite as long as I like, however - so when I order these, I go with the long and get some seam tape to flip the bottoms in an inch or two.
