These gate wheels were larger and more heavy-duty than I expected. They seem super durable and really helped solve a problem with our gate. We have an old heavy large iron gate that was wanting to sag over and over even after we would reinforce and repair it. Also, the ground under it is uneven a little, so I wasn't sure if this would work and roll okay, but once installed it keeps the gate stable, rolls fine even over the rough surface, and seems built to last, rust-resistant, and looks and behaves very high-performance professional quality. So far I have no complaints.

These are pretty heavy duty. They weigh a good bit, seem sturdy, and have bearings on the wheels which roll smoothly. Overall, they work as they should. I used them to mount onto a 4x4 and not a pipe as they are intended. This works well, i just mounted the 4x4 to the old wooden fence gate to help move it when opening. My reason for 4 stars is the material - I know these are steel construction and I'm thinking they'll rust and look pretty rough soon. I don't have proof of that - but the hubs are painted steel. I know this is on a fence which is pretty rough, but this will be re-used on the vinyl gate we will install soon. I'll report back with any updates on fit or finish if things go bad quickly. For now, these do what they should now though.

Take one old, heavy gate that no longer works and add these magic wheels to the bottom and the result is a 5 star review. Assembly was super easy the hard part was finding the bolt that got dropped in the grass by mistake. I can't believe that this old gate Is functional again thanks to the magic wheels.

It’s a nice looking and sturdy assy but one of the four bearings was not installed during assembly causing one wheel to be extremely wobbly. It’s almost seems it was intentionally left out.

Beefy wheels for supporting a rolling heavy gate. These wheels are solid and roll easily. They have the ability to take on a bit of rough terrain and roll over it. The single U bracket mount is heavy duty and holds the wheel in place, but a second bracket and mounting holes would have been better for long term usage.

This is a pretty good gate wheel setup. The wheels are made of solid rubber so they will never go flat. This particular design is for sliding gates, not gates that open on a hinge, though they could be adapted to work for that. The axel is offset to one side to get a stronger weld, but makes it a little lop sided - not an issue in my opinion. The wheel bearings look pretty good, but there is a little slop on the axel and the inner race of the bearing will rotate on the axel. Also not an issue unless your gate is opening at 40 mph. A little epoxy might take out some of the slack. Overall pretty good. Not awesome, but they will definitely hold the weight and role. It would have been kind of nice if they had included a bracket for square tubing and not just round tubing. I will adapt mine to fit.

Heavy duty caster wheels to install at the bottom of a gate to make opening and closing so much easier. It is well made and seems like it will hold up to weather and years of wear and tear. It is definitely helpful when using to open and close large gates and doesn't require much to install or use.
