Q: Those that have this item fitted on a door, can you shut an ajar/open door just by pushing the door itself (i.e. without using handle lever)?

Yes in terms of shutting the door the latch is the same as normal.

Q: Could it be used in a bathroom. Instead of using a key to lock the door from inside.... use this?

Not really, it could as long as you set up each authorised user but it would then automatically lock and no-one could enter if the door was closed! if it was on the outside only authorised people could use the bathroom but a simple bolt would stop another authorised person from entering whilst someone was in the bathroom.

Q: Does this come with 2handles? Front & back? Are both fingerprint opening?

Thanks for interesting of this fingerprint door lock. This parcel comes with 2pcs handles,the front handle designed with fingerprint opening and key opening,the back handle designed with a battery box.

Q: Can you still use this handle if you kept you old latch on the door? My door latch is 35-40mm The one with this handle is too big and doesn't fit

You will need to use the included Latch on the door, my latch was the same it was an orignal 2.5" lock standard in UK and Ireland, this handle used the american style format of a single hole essentially , I just filled the gaps with filler and re painted looks standard. In terms of the latch i just used long chipboard screws
