18 Pieces DIY Snow Globe

I ordered this thinking my daughter could make snow-globes as gifts for Christmas, No directions were provided, When we add the included "snow" it jelled and only floats in water.

I bought these to do with my classroom, and no matter what kind of glue we tried they would not stick to the plastic stopper. We ended up having to throw them all in the garbage and it was a complete and total waste of money I would not recommend buying these!!!

I purchased these for my second grade homeschool co-op class. For the money paid they weren’t terrible. They are a thin plastic and have visible seems holding them together. I didn’t have the class use the trees because I’ve seen identical listings that customers have stated the trees turn the water a murky dark green. I used two figurines per snow-globe and purchased additional ones from hobby lobby. I used E3000 glue and had no issues with them falling off the platform. My one complaint is, the snow that came with the globes just kept floating to the top and didn’t “fall”. I used distilled water and vegetable glycerin and regardless of the quantity of both the water and glycerin no difference was made in how the snow floated. I watched so many YouTube videos and tutorials and feel like I’ve tried all of the tricks to get them to work properly- but they didn’t. Regardless, the kids had fun making them so that’s all that matters to me. I have a few extras so I’m going to try chunky glitter with my friends kiddos and maybe baby oil instead of glycerin. But overall, not awful for the quantity and price!
